I'm in: Have to go with Freddy Krueger. Always rooting for the guy except when Heather/Nancy is involved. (kinda sick when you think about really, best not to think about it). He's hilarious and very Original when it comes to taunting/killing

Honorable mention for Eva Green in the new 300 movie. She was amazing...Very believable, very evil, she made the movie.

misteryo: I'm in, please.

My favorite villain is The Judge from Blood Meridian. This is why he rocks: "The freedom of birds is an insult to me. I'd have them all in zoos. That would be a hell of a zoo. The judge smiled. Yes, he said. Even so... Whatever exists, he said. Whatever in creation exists without my knowledge exists without my consent... He never sleeps, the judge. He is dancing, dancing. He says that he will never die."

chevkoch: “It makes no difference what men think of war, said the judge. War endures. As well ask men what they think of stone. War was always here. Before man was, war waited for him. The ultimate trade awaiting its ultimate practitioner. That is the way it was and will be. That way and not some other way.”

My favorite book. And likely the most intriguing villain indeed.

Thespian*, please let me be in for misteryo, if that's OK. Thanks and +rep for the giveaway! :)
Thanks! Amazed you can get good books, let alone an internet connection, where you're from.

Cheers!

Delivery by sub works surprisingly well. Coral is used as a natural sat dish. And we just laminate the heck out of everything, waterproofing stuff is a priority here.
It's got to be Kain for Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain. Because Vampires rock and he betrays pretty much everyone in the series who are all actually in league or partly assisting the real villains of the series.

Thespian*: Hi! Up for grabs, there's a copy of Dracula 4: Shadow of the Dragon here on GOG. ;)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------
To enter the giveaway, just tell me who's your favorite fictional villain, evil mastermind or mad scientist and why he/she/it rocks. ;)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------

(BTW, I thought of this theme for a GA when my rep hit the 666 milestone, so now you all know how bad it's my procrastination. :D)

RULES:
1. You must have joined before October 2012 OR have 50+ rep points (I can make exceptions to this rule, if asked and I see fit).
2. To enter in the giveaway, you must answer the question above! ("tell me who's your favorite fictional villain, evil mastermind or mad scientist and why he/she/it rocks.")
3. Re-giftting and entering for others (as long as they enter in this GA themselves and you specify their names) are allowed.
4. The draw (random.org) will be in two or three days max. ;)

EXCEPTIONS LIST:
- stg83

I'd like to dedicate the giveaway, as usual, to all those of you who make this community a friendly and warming place to stay. Heartfelt thanks to all of you! :)

PS: If you see this thread lost in the depths of the forum, I really would appreciate a small BUMP to it! ;)
Please count me in. My favorite villain is Andrew Ryan from BioShock because he is so believably mad! +1
I'm in.

My favorite villain is The Master from the latest Doctor Who series when he is Harold Saxon.

Why he kicks ass?

SPOILER ALERT

1. He has style.
2. He knows how to have fun.
3. He has a soul. He isn't a simple soulless machine with no real personality.
4. I like his taste in music.
5. He conquered Earth and tried to conquer the universe.
6. He is very creative when it comes to being "evil".
7. He doesn't care what others think of him.

I was very disappointed with the show after I saw that the writers of the show decided to have him lose everything. And was even more disappointed when I saw that they decided to start messing with his character.

Here is a video of him, enjoying his victory over Earth.

Not in. +1 to Thespian* for the fun themed giveaway.

Hmm....favorite villain that is a tough one, I have many many favorite villains. From the iconic Vadar to the madness of The Joker. It would really be too tough for me to choose =/
I'm in for stg83. Dark Helmet from Spaceballs. Gotta love the humor
Well I must say I'm over whelmed by the support guys, so thanks a lot chevkoch for the +rep as well as many thanks to theslitherydeee and Rong44 for entering on my behalf, much appreciated. :)
Nice! Thank you and in. Let's hunt Dracula!

My favourite villain still is Darth Vader (from the original trilogy of course). He exudes an atmosphere of intimidation and just looks cool.

But my second favourite is Simon Gruber from 'Die Hard with a vengeance' - I like the way he plays with the entire police department, the FBI and with his own allies.
UPDATE: Thanks to Adambiser's generosity, a second code for Dracula 4 has been added to the first one! Thank you, Adam! :)

(If you feel so, you may launch some +1s in his general direction here) ;)

Not in, but thank you so much for your generosity Thespian* and Adam ! :-D

My favorite villain is probably The Joker. I always like Batman and Batman's universe, and the character of The Joker is wonderful. In the movie The Dark Knight, Heath Ledger made an awesome interpretation of the character, his madness is delicious !
OOOooooOOOOoooHHHHhhhhHHHH I'm definitely in :)
My favorite evil character would be Dimitrij Volkov from Nolf (nolf fanboyw know what I'm talking about). Let me show you why he is the ultimate bad ass

-has a manly mustache -> Check
-has an eye patch -> check
-has no hair and is a bald mofo -> check
-has evil Russian accent and voice -> Check
-falls in ice glaciers and still manages to survive and come back in the sequel -> Check
-has a wheelchair that can shoot rockets in the sequel -> Check

For Devil's sake, what the hell you want from this guy? He is a bad ass.
Romulan BUMP! :P
Thank you for the giveaway, Thespian* and Adambise! +1
I'm so in for PaterAlf.

My favorite villan, turned anti-hero of course, is Melchior from Kohan II: Kings of War. The Kohans were a race of immortal beings that inhabited a planet alongside other mortal races. The Kohans could be killed, just like any other human, but they could also be revived. Melchior is a Kohan and he is my favorite, not just because he is a badass, but because of the following scenario.

In the final mission of the campaign you have to defeat a great beast of immense power that would destroy their realm should it be left unchecked, so in the cutscene the soldiers of the gathered mortal armies start to have doubt because most of the Kohan had already ran. And there is this exchange between a random soldier and Melchior:
- Why should we fight and die when even the Kohan run?
- Because while you are dead and feasting at the tables of the gods, we will be here fighting next to your children!

Of course everybody hears the response and the battle is won, as it should always be.
