So any guesses about the hinted game?

Could be S.T.A.L.K.E.R. , could be Nocturne! If it's Nocturne i'll forever praise you guys.
What else could it be though?

Edit : Oh but STALKER cannot be considered a "Classic Release"! It's from 2007!

Edit #2 : I just searched about Terminal Reality (Creator of Nocturne), and found this :

"As of December 2013, Terminal Reality has closed and liquidated its office outside Dallas, TX.". What does that mean exactly? TR is out of business?

Uhm.... yes it can. Back from before GOG started releasing new games their cut off for classic releases was 5 years. So 2007 would qualify.
Maybe The Fifth Element? Guy looks like Gary Oldman.
No, the movie is definitely Stalker (I would know, I SAW it, motherfuckers!). If that weren't obvious enough they added Geiger counter sounds over the footage. So, no question, no doubt, it is definitely S.T.A.L.K.E.R. they are hinting at. Well, either that or Baldies. :P
Interesting. GOG already has GSC Game World on board (Cossacks, American Conquest), so STALKER is not an unexpected turn of events.

All three STALKER games are already available DRM-free though. The more pertinent question should be: does this open the door to Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light on GOG? I know GSC doesn't own any rights to Metro, but there certainly seems to be some interlink between the STALKER and Metro rights in terms of ownership.
The movie is Stalker. I have that on DVD, the scene is from when the Stalker (guide) is leading them through the open fields before they reach the building with the Wish Granter.
GSC is also with GOG already and these 3 games are the best. My monies are waiting GOG.
The Geiger counter noise kinda gives it away, you can't mistake it

The STALKER games are available DRM free? That is news to me.

All three games are DRM-free on disc and only have disc-based copy protection (although one of them - Clear Sky if I recall - uses Starforce in certain regions). Also, Clear Sky at Gamersgate is DRM-free.

IIRC Starforce was used for the Russian retail versions of all 3 games. As for the UK retail versions at least, Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat both use SecuROM while Clear Sky uses Tages.

What about the versions on Steam?
I don't have them on Steam so I don't know what they use there. The store page for Clear Sky says "3rd-party DRM: TAGES™", while the store pages for the other two don't mention any third party DRM (but I'd assume they use Steam's DRM).

Crosmando: What about the versions on Steam?
As far as I'm aware, all of them use CEG, but nothing else. Call of Pripyat on Steam used to use Starforce as well, but that seems to have been removed.

Ah, so it does.

Well, I don't see much of the customary bitching on the Community forum, so it might have been removed.

Edit: Indeed, it has been removed.

When I heard the geiger counter, I hoped for the return of Fallout for a moment...
It is indeed clips from Andrei Tarkovsky's Stalker. I'll be incredibly surprised if the games come here though due to the legal quagmire they've been in, but also utterly overjoyed!
