Well after the epic Holiday songs contest, we’re still chanting Activision carols here at the office but time goes on and a new contest is beginning!

As we’ve mentioned before, there are more than 350 games for sale for less than $5. A lot of you may not be familiar with our catalog, so we thought we’d hold a few contests to help you learn about the great games that GOG.com has available on sale right now. A week ago we’ve picked winners of the Caption Contest.

This time GOG.com is partnering up with the creators of , the famous Heroes of Might and Magic and the Might and Magic RPGs to bring you a new contest: Ubisoft New Years Resolutions!

Write us a New Year’s resolution as if you were a Ubisoft character, and post it in comments to this thread or the Facebook post ;) So Rayman might want to grow a joint between his hands and his torso, and Pey'j from beyond good and evil would probably want to lose some weight. You get the idea. ;)

We’re ending this contest on Tuesday 27th of December at 11:59 AM GMT ;) We will pick some of the most funny, thoughtful, or entertaining entries and call them winners shortly after the contest ends.

Happy Holidays to all!
I will quit entering contests

Prince of Persia -- I will name myself
I Chessmaster, promise to take up kickball. I do need to go outside some more.
This year I will be less dependent of my wife.
- The White King from Chessmaster
I, Farah, promise to stop accidentally shooting the Prince with arrows and occasionally stealing his stuff.
"We will finally get off our asses and figure out how to leave Sorpigal... maybe... hopefully... I mean, we've been in this in for years."
- My poor neglected M&M1 party.
Dear Lord,

My name is Drake from Crusaders of M&M and my resolution for 2012 is to continue my crusade against that heretic Ubi-DRM which prevent too many PC customers from playing with us, characters of Ubisoft games.

Please lead us to a place where people who pay for video games are respected for their investment and not treated as criminals.

Thank you Lord, amen.

PS: Can you see my house from up there?
I promise that I will stop killing people, when I get to know who I am, and what the hell I was doing !

This year, I have resolved myself to avoiding 'accidental' assassinations of citizens...that is correct, more guards, less citizens. - Ezio Auditore
I, Archibald Ironfist, hereby promise to finally take over the world and as a bonus murder (and raise as mindless zombies) the GoG team for implying that Ubisoft had anything to do with creation of my glorious persona. (Un)Death to all of you!
I, Prince of Persia, promise to stop leaving muddy footprints all over those gleaming palace walls
My new year's resolution is to... No no no, that's not the way it happened. Shall I start again?
My New Year's resolutions:
- I promise to finally read some books on military strategy and battlefield tactics!
- Must remember to be nicer to all those creatures I send to their deaths. After all, they serve me faithfully right up to the bitter end.
- I will definitely stop threatening all those nice people that send me their resources. Strong-arming them sure is fun, but I promise I will reform!
- I solemnly promise to come to the aid of my allies in need... at least once!
- Most importantly, I will star in a sequel that's actually better than Heroes III. And I mean it!.. Really!... Aw, who am I kidding...

-- An unnamed computer-controlled Hero of Might and Magic.

I, XIII, promise that by the end of 2012 (and hopefully earlier) there will be at least one more game in the GOG catalogue whose name begins with X (ideally, it should also include the letters C, O and M)
I, TK, resolve to stay in my car...
Please! write Beyond Good & Evil with proper capitalization. :)
