It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

gog.com does not render properly for me in chrome 32.0.1700.107 or firefox 27.0 (and previously 25.1) - see attached. Everything was working earlier today.

Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.19489 displays the page properly but does get this weird message at the top.

"It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Tried to post this in a message to support but attachment would not attach.

A lot of people experience similar problems today. My bet is that GOG stuff is updating something. Just wait patiently a bit, it should be fixed soon
Even more weird, I just got an invalid url when clicking on the uploaded picture. In the words of Alice: Curiouser and curiouser.
Thanks for the replies!
GOG may be broken, but the barefoot essentials still help post easily. Go community!
IE11 and Opera Next - same messagew
IE11, working fine here.

EDIT: With the current terrible design of the website, I can't take seriously messages such as "outdated browser" regarding IE8, considering the site is designed to look like a early 00s IE6-specific website.

EDIT: Which I believe is true for every website that sticks to retarded resolution-specific design. ~1000 pixels, really, what are we, 90s and running Windows 98 with 1024*768?

Jesus.... GOG site is completely buggered for me...
The site itself seems to work fine for me, but a lot of avatars on the forum aren't loading for me. Odd, really. You'd expect it to either load all avatars or none of them, but it seems that it has a problem with the avatars of specific users. I'm using Chrome.

EDIT:
Interestingly enough, the small thumbnail avatars shown on quotes work just fine for the users whose normal avatars won't load for me.

To me, it looks like the header doesn't load due to an "outdated browser" and, maybe as a consequence of that, the css doesn't seem to load at all. Which is annoying, now I will actually have to work.

...or I could read TV tropes. Yeah, let's do that for a while.
A bit more digging seems to indicate that secure.gog.com is the server having troubles. Changing the missing pictures url from secure.gog.com to www.gog.com does show it, so it is possible that changing the location it looks for the .js files will fix most of the errors. Now to check if this is truly the case.
edit: And probably static.gog.com is also not working.

I had this issue too, for the last 3 hours. Just now I can load properly the forums, but my games library was okay during that time.
I'm using Firefox, btw.

I was having the same problems with both Chrome and Firefox, now though with Chrome it started working again (still no luck with Firefox). Weird
Me too,

Sticking to secure.gog.com makes it work again. Just don't use the navigation bar at the top as that one defaults to non-secure.
I had this issue as well, but it seems to have sorted itself out now. Glad to see GOG has fixed the problem, I was concerned I buggered something up with my browser for the first 5 seconds. :P
