Looks like the white bar comes from this in jquery.countdown.css:
.hasCountdown {
border: 1px solid #ccc;
background-color: #eee;
}

If I change #ccc and #eee to #000 or even just delete those lines, things look good in Firefox 8 and probably other versions as well.

I was playing MTG a lot using real cards. I have two copies of Microprose MTG game and I love it. Would probably like to play this 2012 edition but Steam is a no-no for me.
