So is DotEmu the only place other than Steam that sells this game?

D2D sells it still, I think.

The DotEmu version is the only one that's DRM-free, unless the D2D one has been updated to be DRM-free now. It seems unlikely but it would make sense. Once it's DRM-free in one place, what's the point in having DRM on it anywhere else?

Laziness/not bothering to remove it. That's pretty much the reason a ton of 5 year old games still have DRM on them.

At the very least, that litte f***tard could have mentioned that the game is currently on sale for 5$ on Steam.

That's not a bad idea actually. It would essentially be a dark pit of nothingness for deathkitten to shout into.
