Hmmm, weird. I assumed when they changed the exe and files it removed Steam, like all the other overhaul mods typically do. Oh well.

Well, I guess that fan patch don't modify exe.

Odd. I think the VtMB True Patch Gold claims to remove the Steam DRM when applied, which is the fan-patch I use for the game.

Of course, my digital copy is originally from Direct2Drive which has rather rudimentary DRM, easily bypassed. I don't use Steam so can't speak to their Bloodlines version.
