I know you awesome guys can answer any questions and today's quesitons are regarding a rare gem. This is a game i've bveen eyeing for a loong time, but i can't find any place to buy it except steam (on direct2drive you have to live in certain countries...) and the price tag on steam might be a little to steep (19.99 euro). Or is it? thats what im asking you! Is the game worth its money? Whats so great about it? and is there any placeto buy it except steam and direct2drive?
Thanks for the amazing replies i know you will give me!!

The only other place I know of.
Yeah, support those Frenchies and get it from DotEmu. It will help them fund a better web page design. I started an account with them solely for VtM:B.
Great game, brilliant atmosphere. Buggy though, so if get it, make sure to grab latest unofficial patch.
(You'll need it anyway to install the game on x64 OS)
Wow, them getting a DRM free version of that up is quite the cool thing. I assume the problem here for GOG is the $10 maximum selling price, which is something I really hope GOG change.

I am here with money I want to spend on DRM free GOG versions CDP, please allow me to do so by offering higher price-points.

I think they should too, but only if they had the publisher promise to drop the price after so many years. The last thing we need is 50$ classic games. Also a smaller price point would be nice, I bet a few publishers would go less then 5.99$ but that's for a separate topic.
I have been playing it the past few days, and I love it.

I'm not very good at giving critical reviews, when I play I go in with the mindset that I'm gonna enjoy it and not let the negatives bother me.
I also have a habit of playing while stoned, which may not apply to you but here are some thoughts i had from a stoners perpective

Level design:
Pros- Woah these chapters go on forever. So much to explore!
Cons: Woah I totally forgot where I am and how to get where I'm supposed to go next.

Story-
pros- hahaha that shit you just said was funny! Good one Chunk!
cons- what were we talking about? I'm so high right now. Is there a convo log around here?

Graphics
Pros- Jeanette and her sister sure are foxy. aww yeah look at that
cons- It's kinda weird that I am checking out foxy videogame characters

deavir: Every time I buy a game, I curse myself, thinking that I wish I could buy the same game on GoG instead. I'm not saying that I want games to cost 50 dollars, but I want GoG's games to be competitively priced. If I can get a game here for the same price for which I could get it on Steam, I'd rather get it here instead.

Oh how i wish GoG could get this game. Would love to pay something besides 20 dollars for a 8 year old game. Ive seen newer games drop to 20 bucks faster then that game go on sale.
It's a sign of how good the game is that it still sells for so much after so long. It's a great game, but is buggy as has been previously mentioned, so get the unofficial patch.

You now what? I disagree.
I think selling games at higher prices will cause more not so old games coming to GOG.
And I still prefer very old games rather than not so old games games here.
As you can see next to my avatar I'm a Retolucionero :)

I want every game possible on GOG. Simple exe installers, no DRM, bonus items and a good community. I want new releases here if ever possible.
The new unofficial patch has just been released:
