An idea just hit me...they have been making game aiding manuals since at least the 90's, I have an old Sim City 2000 Guide book and a Civilization 2 one somewhere around here, it would be awesome if GOG offered these hint/guide books, maybe charge a dollar or two for those that want them...Couldn't see why the companies that put them out wouldn't want to do that...Of course, I wouldn't buy that for a lot of games, but, for those I loved when i was younger and still love now, I would probably pull the trigger...Just a small idea..
Sorry for going off off topic...there was recently a different thread already on Bloodlines I believe..I seem to remember posting in it a few weeks ago? Anyways it is a great game and if you like RPG's, Vampires, and haven't played this game, well I defiently think you should give it a go, I had lots of fun playing it, and people are still improving on it to this day. I would for sure get it at dotemu though, none of that steam DRM stuff, and the unofficial patch is very easy to find so it shouldn't be a problem to get it.
If you are asking if Vanilla Bloodlines is playable...The answer is yes..Well at least with the official patches for sure, because the first time I played it was just with those and I don't remember any major game ending problems at all...Of course Like someone said above one may need the unoffical patch for running it on newer systems...though I wouldn't know....Sorry to hear you can't afford it I'd check DotEmu from time to time and see if it ever comes down to $10 on a sale, still a lot I know, but, I think that game is worth it.
