DukeNukemForever: It seems Dotemu lost all Activision games. As far as I remember that was only Bloodlines and the Gabriel Knight games, but still a little surprise they were removed. Not good for Dotemu, especially since the last release were only ports to mobile devices and more "unknown" games from Nordic Games.
Damn! I should have bought DRM-free Bloodlines when I had the chance. :(

*sobs*
Heh, good thing I got this.

Well, who knows. Maybe GOG have something special up their sleeve for Halloween. ;)
Oh wow, I didn't realize those games were removed from DotEmu. That sucks ... So that's why GK was on sale the week before last or so? Boy am I glad that I got their Bloodlines version earlier this year, such a great game I wouldn't have wanted to miss. :/

Now there's even more pressure on GOG to bring it here! :P

I have VTM: Bloodlines from Retail.
Yeah, I'd love to see it on GOG - who wouldn't?

lowyhong: Welcome to GOG. No need to apologize for anything. My guess is it will come to GOG... eventually. I think the only reason why Activision isn't selling it here is because of its price point on other sites. Once it has a permanent price drop down to $10 or so, that's when we'll see it here.

wpegg: The thing that has surprised me is that despite being willing to sell out to Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, GOG hasn't introduced this game at a higher price point.
Ha ha ha ha, I know right? :-P I think it's safe to assume that, considering how highly-desired this game is, the problem isn't necessarily the $20 price point (at least, not these days). I think somebody suggested the game's engine (a mod of Valve's Source engine or something?) was going through legal troubles or something I don't really understand. Maybe it's other rights' issues, I haven't played the game so I don't know what all was in it.
Got it DRM free for $6 from DotEmu a couple months ago. Weird they lost it since.

wpegg: No idea, but welcome to the site.

Personally I'm glad I didn't shed my copy of it during my great purge, it seems to be quite a valuable thing.

Have you played it before? I'm curious as to whether you wish to remember it, or experience it?
Sorry for the late reply, something came up. I've only played it for about 30 minutes a long time ago, so basically, i want to experience it. I heard so much about it, and an RPG like Vampire Bloodlines sounds very interesting (setting, characters, etc.).
