Just wondering what everyone does for a living here. Would be interesting to know what walks of life people here are from.

I myself am a freelance translator, localiser, proofreader, editor and three-time journalist. I translate between English and German and from French into English and German. I've also done some lecturing work in the past on languages, translation and game localisation.
At the moment I'm without a job... my profesion is programer/web-designer... but not much work lately in Bulgaria...

Thought about freelancing?
I work as a quality inspector (at least I think that it is somewhat proper description of my job) in one German company.

I'm self educated in web design so it is hard to freelance too ;) I'm still trying anyways... btw I'm trying to do buisness with this... click
All-round geek, programmer by formal training but doing more work in the database area of things.

Currently unemployed though, which lets me do some more studying of weird and esoteric programming languages and getting my groove on with Linux (I'm mostly a Microsoft stack guy).
Student. Finishing in June though and don't have anything but a couple of internships lined up. Hopefully will get a job in a law firm next year. Fingers crossed.
IT tech at a school for adults, no formal training beyond high school.
I work @ GOG. I do things.

As in, you're the one who ties TheEnigmaticT down when he loses his hat :D
I graduated with a BA in Philosophy last December. Guess what, I'm unemployed.
Student, studying something between Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Informatics (it is a mix of all, I guess). On my last semester right now, and I'm graduating either in June or July, but really dunno what I'll do with my life afterwards.

Studying for Masters in a Western European (or Northern) country, landing a job in the gaming industry, working on improving my music production skills and releasing something on a known label, hopefully one of these will happen.
Legal Assistant. Law stuff without law school.

Shit. Now he's going to have to change his name to "TheT". Thanks to you, he's no longer enigmatic.

Currently unemployed. I have a degree in Geology, but haven't worked in the field in several years. Last job was managing a bookstore, but I quit in December. I'll start looking for something else at the end of the summer (I have a couple things lined up that have a good chance of panning out).
