I think basically if you have a way to pay for these games (credit card, etc.), you're roughly the right age to decide if you want to play M-rated games or not. The ratings are there to help give people an idea of the content inside.
I sure hope GOG goes by physical age, and not mental or emotional age. Otherwise, I might be in a heap of trouble. Maybe I better make sure my library is fully downloaded just in case...

Leroux: I think anyone under the age of 18 who shows an interest in games like VTM: Redemption at this time and age could be considered precocious. ;)

Can't you play BloodRayne instead? That's only 16+ ... :D

darthvader39560: lol. I shall have a look at bloodrayne.
I thought it was kind of ironic, because I don't remember Redemption to be anywhere near as brutal as BloodRayne, but then again in BR you "only" massacre nazis, while in Redemption you might be able suck body fluids from prostitutes! *gasp* :P

monkeydelarge: OR maybe GOG doesn't care for German laws because they aren't located in Germany and the German government can't do anything to them.
That's one of the reasons why I love GOG. ;)
