Make sure you never use her real name, and instead use: sugarlips, sugarpants, honeypants, honeypot, sexpot, sugarpot, cupcake, baby, sweet-cheeks, princess, dollface, hotstuff, buttercup, etc. You get the idea.

Seriously, don't try ro be something, just be yourself. If she's not into that, kick her to the curb.

bevinator: Yes, men are more likely to be colorblind, but the cultural/language aspect is still in place for non-colorblind folks. Red and green are common culprits as they're the most likely defective cones for colorblind people. Only a very small percentage of colorblind people cannot see blue, and even for the fully colorblind it's easy to tell light shades from dark shades simply by contrast/saturation. (The colorblind are often used for camouflage research for that very reason.)

The general situation, though, is much as JMich (or P1na) described, with interest/attention/vocabulary determining responses but the visual input is the same.
I'm not convinced that's true. There are different degrees of colorblindness --i.e. a person's ability to see the small differences in color shades can be weaker even if he/she's not specifically colorblind. From what I've understood, men generally don't see colors as well. As an example, my husband and I were at a science center and they had a bunch of pictures they use to test color blindness. Basically if you aren't able to see all the numbers in the pictures you are colorblind. We both could see all the numbers, but while I could see the numbers plain as day, my husband had to study them for a while before he was sure.

Still her mate. Everything's pretty swell and she is certainly looking at a LTR. I really hope that I can pull this off....I have been a bit of a dog and I really hope that I can redeem myself here.
