It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

xyem: Linode is a VPS provider, I can install whatever CMS you want to use on it.
Drupal? I haven't actually used it before, but I have applied for a job at a company that uses it as their CMS, so a good opportunity to try it out!

Thanks for your help! :)

Do you want Drupal 6 or 7? 7 is very new, so I figured I'd ask in case you prefer the more stable/widely used version.

If we go with the latest version can we drop back to 6 if it causes too many problems?

I've never used Drupal before either, so I don't know if there is a downgrade path. I'll be happy to install Drupal 6 for you at a later date though.

It should be a learning experience then ... thanks! :)

I've installed Drupal 7 and set up a database for you to install it to. Sent an email with the details I think you will need. Let me know if you need any more or come across any problems.

I don't have postfix installed, so you won't be able to send any emails from your installation yet.

Sorry I havent been keeping up with this thread.... But sounds like a plan :) (met a young lady... and well... ya know how that goes...time into relationship for foundation = fly away a couple times a year to do crazy things... )

I'll start being safer on climbs and bring another person along with me (when I find someone here who is into it... Sure there are folks.. just apparently very very cliquey as to whom they climb with... that way I can get some good pics and what not as climbing alone I never really worried about snapping shops at the top with me in the picture I've always figured why ruin the picture with my ugly mug...

I should find out on Monday what the final closure date of my office is, so if you want to do Denali sometime ...
I vote for Spring. I am not still saying definite yes but Spring is much more likely for me to be able to go.
Yeah, Spring 2012 is when we intend to do it.

On a related note, I'm struggling a bit with the website - does anyone here have any experience with the Drupal Content Management System?

As you know, I don't know specifically about Drupal, but I can always help if you need it.

I haven't used Drupal, but I can do webwork if needed. My problem is I work far more than I should and may be slow in responding (I mean, I can respond within the week, I just can't always turn something around in a day).
