MobiusArcher: The franchise wasn't an FPS to begin with though. The shooter was based on a comic book series.
Oh didn't know that, but still the FPS was really good and i'd have preffered it if they stuck with that.

Looking at the screenshots this looks actually a lot more like the comics then the first game did. (mind that tells absolutely nothing about the quality of the game)

I would rather have a direct sequel, considering the original game ends on a pretty massive cliffhanger.

A couple of years ago there was a TV miniseries of XIII. It had Val Kilmer in it as the Mongoose. Im not going to say it was good, but it was plenty entertaining. If you really liked the game, it may be worth tracking down.
