I don't want to start another thread that has been here trilion times already, but I would like to know if anyone else having same problem today.

Finally, FINALLY, Wizardry is on promo and my credit card decided to stop working. I mean, my payment has been declined, several times. I really don't know what can be wrong here, this is not my first purchase. I am far from the limit, everything seems to be fine on the bank side. What to do now?

Well, if I were you, i'd set up a paypal account, which is free and quite easy, then buy it through them.

GOG has 'temporary' problems with accepting Visa Electron cards. My last successful purchase here with VE was on 2013-07-12. On 2013-08-09 my VE was rejected for the first time and since then I can't use it here anymore. I tried with other VE - same result.

EDIT: Some kind of official statement from gog staff would be appropriate but concerning low buzz on forum I would say this poroblem doesn't concern a lot of us. I just switched to Mastercard - PayPal seems a good option too.

EDIT2: Now I'm in the same boat - they rejected my Mastercard too. Fsck!

starrfoxx: What the frick?

I tried three different credit cards and got the same response. I checked all three cards, and all three are valid. No problems. Is there an issue with GOG? I got around the issue by using PayPal, but I'm hoping this is not a regular occurrence. I had no troubles before, so I don't know what's going on now.

I'm in the U.S. Maybe the banks are denying foreign transactions or something with those foreign transaction fees? Not sure. I just find it awfully weird that three cards from three different banks were denied payment.

Just wondering if anyone else got this problem too, and if it's a website error that is leading to the wrong page.
I just happened to me, cannot pay after 20.12.2013 - but bank says they have not rejected anything. Please please fix it soon, i do not want to miss all the christmas sales :(
This is happening to me as well, it happened to me 2 weeks ago too, and i just gave up and used my card in another store and it worked, please help i really want to buy some of these awesome games ! Ticket support # RMZ9OYE3
Are you using PayPal? I spent all morning today talking with my card issuer because they'd blocked transactions through PayPal for some reason. Card worked fine when I tried checking out in stores without using PayPal, but if I used PayPal the card would be declined (except on Nuuvem, for some reason with Nuuven it worked fine).

No am using a gift card, i had purchased games in the past with the same brand gift card with no problems, and i don't know why it's not letting me buy anything this time. I had the same problem about 2 weeks ago, but with a credit card. I used the credit card elsewhere and it let me buy stuff. I also checked the balance and it has money so am not sure why it's declining.

Probably the same problem. Just because your bank approves domestic "card present" transactions does not mean they will approve a foreign "card not present" transaction. Every card issuer has their own policy, and some of them will refuse transactions involving a UK bank and a Cyprus company for reasons that their bean counters decided were good.

Remember "Visa, Everywhere you want to be" is puffery, not a binding promise.

PayPal often goes through when a bank card with a restrictive foreign transactions policy will not.
