Someone fixed their NWN with these settings:

In case the link goes bad, here's the critical bit:

In ‘nwn.ini’, set the following in the [Display Options] section:
AllowWindowedMode=1
FullScreen=0
In ‘nwnplayer.ini’, set the following in the [Game Options] section:
Client CPU Affinity=1
And finally, in ‘nwnconfig.ini’, set the following in the [Processor] section (note that the ‘Speed’ setting should be your speed in Mhz):
NumCPUs=1
Speed=3000

This, unfortunately, did not work :/
And I couldn't find nwnconfig.ini, even when I searched it

That's because it's nwconfig.ini, not nwnconfig.ini

The file should be there in your main NWN installation folder along with the other .ini files (nwncdkey, nwnplayer, nwn, etc.) I just checked my install and it's there (I'm also on Win7).

Ok, found it. But it had hardly anything it in:

Am I supposed to add in [Processor]?

Hmmm, that's odd. It's in mine. The very top is [Version], then [OS] under that. A couple lines further down is [Processor].

I note you have the game installed in Program Files (x86). I don't know if it would make a difference in your case, but it's recommended to install games outside Programs or Programs (x86). Something like C:\Games. This is due to the fact that Win7 protections tend to really give problems with games in the Programs folders.

I've installed it in many different locations lol.

Note my CPU number is 255. LOL I haven't noticed any issues with the game, so I left it alone.
