What the Witcher 2 needs is a version of

Personally i hope this guy will do the same for W2 combat mechanics as he did for the Witcher 1.
I as well preffered the combat from TW as opposed to the combat in TW2. It feels like i need more skill to play TW combat where as beef up Quen and mash away will work in TW2. The rolling, jumping, and flopping around like a freshly boated fish on a hot deck is not sword fighting, that is gymnastics and i expect after some roll heavy situations for Geraly to spring to his feet arms outstretched to the applause of the crowd as he waits for the judges to return a verdict on his current floor excercise minus the unisex leotard.

Asai
to be fair, rolling is a lot less ridiculous than jumping over the heads of your enemies.

how to improve witcher 2 combat: keep working on responsiveness, and make parry, ripostes and blocking more effective. giving whirl-lite to default geralt was a good move. needs more sensible adjustments like that. that spin move geralt does in riposte can be applied to a dodge move. patch material for sure.

Umm in TW1 by chapter 4 i was simply spamming aoe igni and group sword style (both fully levelled at this point) and just steamrolling my way through everything... I hardly call that challenging.
