sariaen: Merchants with money limits is a more realistic approach. The land is at war. Why would you think that merchants have unlimited cash up their pockets?
Ok but for a realistic warzone approach they already have way too much money (and food!) , so since that is out of the window, might as well make it comfortable to play


there are already mods out for wealthier merchants btw

The merchants have enough money... hell their everywhere. So unless you are exploiting shells to pearls, the game has a fine balance. A "lot" of rpgs have money caps on merchants, it is part of the game systems DnD etc. Many exotic or rare alchemy items and formula cost considerable amounts of cash, you need to make a choice, you need to work for it, not have it handed to you with out effort.

That is exactly what I have in my mind. Mods are there so you can use them at your will. Everyone is happy.

I'm currently level 15 and i have 13.5K in Crowns. I can't even imagine what i would ever spend them on. I hardly loot anything anymore unless it's a recipe or a special item. Money is NOT an issue in this game.

Yup.. once you get past a certain point in the game.. like around level 8, money becomes much easier to get.. or maybe it's just that by that time you've worked out all the best ways to get money.. I dunno. Before I reached about level 6, I was struggling with money but somewhere between 6 and 8, I was suddenly rolling in enough cash that I had more than I needed.
