Sorry for asking, but is there any way for the merchants to replenish their spending gold? I have much more to sell, i almost have 1000 gold on me and all merchants in the entire map area are completely broke.
Yes

Ike888: Yes
...Thanks, how?
I think it is five days until they fully replenish their money.
Many thanks. Geralt will grow a full beard if he ever hopes to sell everything off, then...
Oh good to know

Merchants with money limits is a more realistic approach. The land is at war. Why would you think that merchants have unlimited cash up their pockets?
Because this is a game, and a freaking RPG game, too??

Merchants in proper RPGs have unlimited funds (usually, normally...)!

Remember books. Buy gems, sell items for gold. Sure, you'll lose money, but you'll win weight and time.

Because they always have, even in war... *particularly* in wartime. Ok, not unlimited, but merchants are never poor, and that you can bet on.
I don't think it would be unrealistic for some merchants to have a lot of cash in wartime. Especially those dealing with troops, or in big cities.

But keep in mind that you really don't need a lot of money in the game. If you're like me, you can't bear to throw away or dismantle fancy equipment, but the truth is that it's not worth much time or effort to sell loot in the later part of the game.

No, you are wrong. Since this is an RPG it has a certain setting. This setting is a freaking war where supplies are low and all money is redirected to armed forces. I could tell you more but I do not want to spoil the story for anyone reading this thread. That is exactly why you have limits.

Just imagine this:

Gothic 2 with 'Night of the Raven' expansion. In the base game, Khorinis is struggling with the Orcs. Kingdom is at war. Supplies are low, Paladins are taking most of the stock away. You get a setting. You know it will be hard. Merchants have low amount of gold and almost no goods. After installing the the expansion, each NPC whines about how difficult the times are but when you look at their stock, they have all the freaking blades and armors available. Tons of gold too. Isn't that immersion breaking? For me it is. Seems to me there is no war, no issues with the orcs, no nothing!

And seriously guys, CDPR is not a brothel. They will not be able to satisfy all the tastes and approaches to gaming. I can understand that it might be a problem for some people. That is a matter of taste. For me it is immersion breaking. I hope they will leave it as is and allow modders to provide fixes for those gamers who feel uncomfortable with it. Everyone is happy. Just stay away with immerion breakign things from my base game.

You lost me here. In previous titles they had functions that satisfied people that now are dissatisfied. And of course they are not a brothel. They are an experimentation lab. See 1, then 2, then 3. They feel and are completely different to each other.

I don't know about others, but i am happy. Especially since some resting and few days later issue is fixed. I am also happy because i already found workarounds to common player issues and hindrances, much like xp and gold shortage.

Your mistake is; CDPR might not be a brothel, but after all is said and done, they once again prove to satisfy ALL tastes. At least i got satisfied, a lot!
Someone elsewhere mentioned that you can drop things on the ground and they never disappear. If this is a fact, then you can just drop all the stuff you want to reduce your weight with and come back later to sell it.
