FuryanEU: Same here, similar setup, except i run 680 and 32gb ram.

Crashing every 10-15 minutes.

I've tried disabling gog, disabling nvidia experience features, repairing the installation.

At this point the only thing i did not try is Rerolling to previous drivers, i've heard rumors these rushed out witcher 3 Nvidia drivers might be the problem, and most people who complain are running an Nvidia graphics cardc.

HELP!

nikrel: I just rerolled drivers back & it crashed again. Clean install also using DDU.
Rerolled drivers several iterations back, checked memory with memtest, changed all the settings over and over again,
reinstalled the game onto three different drives and two different SSD's ,reinstalled gog client, cleaned the cr*p out of my computer, still crashing.. sometimes it will let me play 20 minutes. sometimes it goes boom after 5.

Im browsing the forums of gog/cdprojekt, other threads, no one has a foolproof fix that works for everyone :/

Goodmongo: You need to try turning Vsync off AND changing the FPS cap to unlimited. This has worked for everyone else so far.
That is absolutely false, i'm tracking about 20 threads about these freezing/crashing issues and the Vsync or/and FPS cap thing works for a selected few.

The game crash every time at the scene with the introduciton of the griffon.
HELP please !!!
For those with NVIDIA cards the VSync AND (or doesn't work) no FPS cap has worked. We also all had full screen and some other options so there might be additional settings involved. But over on the official W3 forums there are many people saying that it has worked for them.

Neither fix worked for me.
Same here with GTX 780. The game freezes, well only the video part, because I still hear the sound of the game, I can still walk in the game, I hear NPCs talking etc..

I tried a lot of the things mentioned above, but no luck.
it seems that platying in english also helps, ive played in eng for an hour after that decieded to change to my native language and 1 min in game crashed straght after, when played in enh vsync on 60 cap and full svreen...
Just going to copy my other post

I started using borderless window mode and changed my FPS to unlimited and my game has been flawless. I was having crashes every 20-25 minutes, and I haven't had one in 3 hours now.

Seems being in borderless initially and moving to fullscreen works for others, and vice versa. Interesting!

Tokoyama: Same here, game freezes every hour and always in the menu/inventory or dialog.

very annoying!

xValdiSx: lucky one, i've got them evety 5-7 minutes
Me too. Got latest graphics drivers. Tried optimising using NVIDIA's tool. Tried eliminating the frame cap. Tried turning settings down to medium. Still no joy.

Is there a chance in the world a game released by CDPR is functional on release? The longest time I've had so far between crashes was about 3 hours. Breaks the flow, and considering the game is very cut scene heavy and takes some time to load, ruins half of the pleasure.
