I no longer can craft regular or greater mutagens even though i have plenty of lesser mutagens of every color. Anyone else see this?
try dropping them and then picking them back up. If you drop them you can craft new ones then pick the ones you had back up, but it's a pretty big bug though.

Yeah, the game is now treating Mutagens like potions. If I have one in my inventory it won't let me craft more and it doesn't recognize if you have more than one mutagen in your inventory so you can't craft a new mutagen even if you don't already have it.
well my bug from 1.04 is still there can't play haven't been able to play since the 28th CTD every time I fast travel to Velen or Novigrad from Skellige.

100 hours game time no problems then CTD bug and haven't been able to play since not even sure a new game will fix this ...or if i get to 100 hours it may happen again >.<

This actually might be a fix and not a bug. You become way too OP and can hit crazy high efficiencies which makes the game too easy, even on DM. So one way to cut back your power is to limit the benefit from multiple greater mutagens. It's a guess on my part.

Don't think so, because the workaound posted by Shelledfade above works. Drop the one(s) you want to craft and it will let you craft another. Rinse and repeat as needed.
It's a bug.
They managed to bug Alcohol, Alcohol Substances and Mutagen crafting
:)
What about alcool ?
Huh, What about? You can't craft more if any single one of those items exist. So say you need x2 of X item to make something else, you no longer can do that, and have to cheese the game by droping stuff.
It seems you can no longer skip the cinematic loading screens. Guess its not a bug though. But its kind of annoying.

EDIT:
Tried fast travelling to Skellige and I managed to skip the loading screen. I guess you can only NOT skip if you are loading your game.

Thanks for the heads up OP, didn't even know Ptach 1.05 was out, got no notification.

all the best

[edit] still can't examine the dead griffin. I give up will have another go later in the year, after many more patches I would imagine.

preorderd the game nine months ago, I can wait a few more

If your mutagen is named after a specific monster (e.g. "werewolf mutagen"), then for some reason you can't craft higher-tier mutagens with them. You have to have three "lesser mutagens" specifically.

This was always the case for me. I could never combine three werewolf mutagens into a higher level red mutagen.

Not really, you have to equip mutagens on the skill screen to get any effect from them. Any unequipped mutagens just take up space...

Still, the rest of this bug is kinda extreme. Maybe I wait to patch until 1.06.
The xp bug is fixed guys?
