A classic FPS from the early 00's. Such a hassle to install on a modern system. A re-release would made it acessible to a newer audience. The three campaigns are so well put together. The best game that reunite these two cinema icons.

I am sure it can be downloaded as abandonware, but just think how cool it would be to have it and Primal Hunt in GoG collection. It is one of best games in Alien/Predator universe. Story is good and characters are written well.

Best AvP game. I borrowed it from a friend long time ago, and it was my favourite game back then. A true action game, but a good dose of horror, three different campaigns (the gameplay was totally different so it was almost like 3 games instead of 1) and a excellent plot, because the three stories were interconnected. Also, an interesting mutiplayer. I would reeeeally like to play this game again.
Best story and overall campaign of any AVP game out there. Still have my disc copy but it's painful to see the game has essentially become abandonware. Bring it back GOG. LETS GET TACTICAL MARINES!!!!

This was my favorite AvP game. The game was stable and it had very good performance. The story was very good. This is actually three games in one. The game is played from the point of view of the alien, marines and then the predator. The predator play through was my favorite. I would definitely play it again if it was available and worked on modern hardware.

For me this game was all about - you can play as Alien. Although the mechanics was really simple it was very immersive gameplay. We played it over LAN and I can still hear the "sonar" beeping when aliens were approaching. Great franchise and great game.

My PC at the time was too slow for this game, so I mostly played it at a friend’s place, taking turns. I remember being genuinely scared whenever I played as the marine.
This is the game that introduced me to modding, with a massive community making custom maps, skins and more. They've kept it alive ever since, after GameSpy vanished the fans even made their own multiplayer system. While it's not unplayable if you know where to look, it's a crying shame that arguably the best AVP game is not officially available to buy. The campaign is excellent with its three interweaving storylines and tonnes of great callbacks to the movies. It just has the vibe nailed perfectly. Nailing a trooper's head to a wall as the Predator and hearing a menacing distorted laugh afterwards never gets old. Or launching at someone as the Alien and seeing them just explode into a pile of gibs!
One of the best classic fps games with three unique campaigns to play through! This game needs to be preserved forever as obtaining it now is very difficult unless you have it on disc already.

One of the most hardcore games of its time. I still remember being terrified playing the Marine campaign as a kid, and going through the Alien campaign for the first time. Really excellent game, that is unfortunately held up in some sort of copyright limbo sadly.
Those games also need your vote!

Earthworm Jim: Special Edition
Earthworm Jim: Special EditionThe game's Special Edition was released for the Sega Genesis add-on, the Sega CD. It was based on the Genesis version, contained all of its levels, plus some extended section to the levels and a single completely new level, titled "Big Bruty", a new remixed CD audio soundtrack, as well as around 1,000 more frames of in-game animation. These versions were also the only ones to contain alternate endings when winning on the "Easy" or "Difficult" difficulties, in which a narrator rambles on about many (false) facts about worms or congratulates the player in a similar absurd manner respectively. The Special Edition was later ported to Windows 95 by Activision.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
