This game is jank. It has many speed-ups and slow-downs of animation and systems. Overhead map stages sometimes require accidental lodging Conan into places in order to trigger events. There's a side view that's used for indoor spaces and combat, with some interactivity. A lot of skimpy clothing on many of the characters and a somewhat amazing level of grime for 256 color MCGA graphics. I don't know how the other options sound, but the Adlib/OPL2 soundtrack is quite good.

Metro 2033Metro 2033 is a first-person shooter with survival horror elements, based on the Russian book of the same name by Dmitry Glukhovsky. Most of the game takes place underground, but several times Artyom will have to venture outside, into the perpetual nuclear winter. Game progression is fairly linear, though areas may be explored more thoroughly for items and ammunition. Setpieces include a few on-rails sequences, missions that involve defending a location from an onslaught of monsters, and others. A few stages can be completed in a stealthy fashion.

As of February 2012, both PC and console versions had shipped nearly 5 million copies combined. In addition to the original full game, L.A. Silent HillSilent Hill is the first installment in the Silent Hill series of psychological survival horror video games. Unlike earlier survival horror games that focused on protagonists with combat training, the main character Harry Mason is an average man. The gameplay consists of combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving. The controller vibration is used to indicate Harry's heartbeat and will vibrate on low health. The player must regularly enter an inventory screen to check Harry's health, use items, and equip different weapons.
