A beautiful adventure, much like the beast within, an interactive first person adventure with live cut scenes in an extra terrestrial environment, I have tried to replay my copy but sadly cannot, really hope gog will finally bring this gem back into the light
An Excellent forgotten adventure. Tried to get this to run on my XP machine but even on XP in compatibility mode with all known patches applied it still crashes after 10 or 15 minutes of game play and at disc swap. This received a DVD copy with the entire game on a single disc but sadly I don't have it. Would love to see this on GOG.
tried through the years to make this game work after failing to complete it in the late 90s.....bought the standard edition in the early noughties, no go, then a few years later the DVD version...still no luck...even Inferno's excellent patch page could not make the game run on new systems... would be great to play it again from the start

Fable: The Lost ChaptersFable was expanded and rereleased as Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005. The game was later ported to Mac OS X by Robosoft Technologies and published by Feral Interactive on 31 March 2008.
The Lost Chapters features all the content found in the original Fable, as well as additional new content such as new monsters, weapons, alignment based spells, items, armour, towns, buildings, and expressions, as well as the ability to give children objects. The story receives further augmentation in the form of nine new areas and sixteen additional quests. Characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe, who played only minor roles in the original game, are now given more importance and are included in certain main and side quests. Other character-based augmentations include the voice of the antagonist, Jack of Blades, sounding deeper, harsher and more demonic, and the ability to uncover (and resolve) the murder mystery of Lady Grey's sister.
