I remember playing this with my younger brother. I don't think it was my *first* computer game, but it would have been among the first three or four. Educational and authentically fun, I've been longing for a remaster or re-release of the Super Solvers games for years. Now that I have my own young children I would *love* to see these games on GOG.
Remember playing this game constantly, one of the best learning games I played that had a good loop. Always traveling up the mountain again having to gather nets to catch and then selve problems. This to me felt like a good mix of learning and actual gameplay, this one and other Super Solvers games I would love to see on GOG.
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon RisingOperation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is a game about a fictitious conflict on one of the Sakhalin islands, a conflict that is in danger of erupting onto a global scale. The player takes the role of a US soldier, part of the allied force fighting against outnumbering Chinese forces vying for control of the island.
The game centers on a campaign narrative that gives the player a variety of roles in the allied forces ranging from a Marine Infantry, tank commander, Special Forces and helicopter captain. The game has an incredible realistic depiction of war with careful attention to the detail of the weapons, equipment and tactics of the armed forces. The action is varied from intense fire fights through to slower pace tactical decision making on how to best tackle the mission objectives.Open world Action
