GreatWarriox: The fact is that Cyberpunk had one of the best debuts in the history of game industry. Game series needs time to develop etc, thats how they become part of game industry.

Everyone is praising how awesome GTA5 is, guess what, they had 20+ year brand and fans behind them.
I'm very happy for CDPR to have sold many copies and having made lots of money. Most of those copies were probably sold prior to the game true mechanics and bugs becoming public, so the jury is out there how commercially successful this will be.

I agree there is too much drama which in fact gives Cyberpunk too much publicity which it does not deserve. The world needs to move on but luckily or unluckily for CDPR there are no major titles being released in the next 6 months (thank you Sony and Microsoft for great launch of PS5 and Xbox). So this discussion going in circles will just carry on.

CDPR equally now had many years behind them as a developer/publisher so comparisons to Rockstar are very valid.

Rockstar titles have people on their teams that go back to the 80s text based adventures series games with loads of experience console games platformers top down shooters odd games that are not popular in anyway but are very functional on those respected platforms, They know tricks older than CDPR.

Apart from loading on GTA 5 the game is optimised extremely well and considering it was released 2013 its functionality is still far beyond that of CP2077, unlike GTA iv which to me is a pile of crap with a good story, Where's to me GTA 5 is a good game with a crap story, The GTA Series has improved on it self time and time again, With Function options performance Animations Graphical enhancements those games all have better Ai than CP2077, Even the 90s GTA II has better cop Ai than CP2077 and that was a Top Down game even the pedestrians worked better.

The Red Engine is Great but the underdeveloped almost mentally challenged Ai is terrifyingly horrible.

CP2077 has more in common with Saints Row 1 - 2 bad physics or lack of terrible Ai stupid pop-in items bad portal culling positions horrid z fighting and offset problems.

GTA 5 can be written off as a bad game by some but functionally it's a better game than most, Even a potato can run GTA 5 well enough to enjoy online for what it is.

Yeah, they keep improving it, just like they did in Witcher series. Witcher 1 compared to Witcher 3 is like a night and day. Ive no doubt Witcher 4 is gonna be ever greater. Unless for some reason CDPR got upset about this or go figure, we dont really know CDPR that much yet.

Cyberpunk is excellent game, way above average already.

at first CP2077 was "100% certain and necessary full price purchase" for me and quickly it went to "no go" (hopefully - yet) for me.

i will happily give them easily a year and then buy it at asking price ---> *if* they will deliver what was promised and advertised (and no less) ---> immersive open world action rpg with lots of stuff to do and with story on top of that - NOT story driven adventure game it seems to be right now from all material i saw so far (because of the luckluster half baked open world thats seems like incomplete soundstage to stick it all tigether with lots of immersion breaking bugs).

saw lots of partucular gameplays and watched them carefully, thats why i see that game the way i do. my point of view very accurately aligns with constructive criticism by the dude in the video below

cant post links at this moment, so...

(potential spoilers at 41:30-42:15)

I dont care about multiplayer at that moment, or even expansion story dlc's (and not in that order).
i wish they'll manage to properly re-release CP2077 first.
and *then* they will have my money.
