So the game got a 33% discount here, so I thought it would be a good enough time to do this. I'll be giving away 3 copies of the game. I'll choose the winners on Saturday or Sunday depending on how many enter. No rep or registration date requirements like the other giveaways I do.

However, if you're wanting in (also say that you're in) state what game you bought full price recently or years ago (indie, b-tier, AAA, etc.), and though it was completely worth it and a reason why (doesn't have to be very detailed).

As far as stuff I bought (recent examples):

1) Shovel Knight: Playing through the game three times (twice as Shovel Knight and once as Plague Knight), I genuinely got my money's worth. A well crafted and fun platformer overall. The soundtrack is pretty great too.

2) Bayonetta 2: It came with the first game (well, some copies did), but overall the sequel was pretty much what I wanted: an incredibly over the top action game that's better than the first one in almost every way.

There a few more than the ones I've listed, but that's a start as far as I can remember.

EDIT: The giveaway is now over. Thanks for participating.

Space Channel 5 for the Dreamcast. Worth every penny!
I would like to be in. I've heard a lot of cool things about Shovel Knight!

As for a game I bought full price that was absolutely totally worth it: Grim Fandango! It was one of the last games I bought through the old lucasarts website store, and I only got the jewelcase, but still!
Unless that doesn't count because it was years after it was released. In that case, the answer would be Broken Age, although the documentary was what really made it worth it :D.
Thanks for the giveaway

Crysis 2 is a game I bought at full price and worth every penny. No bugs, glitches, clunk controls or bad story.

It was a very well done game.
Shovel Knight. Heard alot of praise about that, i'm in!

I bought Pillars of Eternity, and i think it was completely worth it.

Not because its the perfect CRPG (it had some flaws), but because my money went to Obsidian, who i support deepheartedly because i trust in them to deliver even more great CRPGs in the future and improve on the formula of POE even further with the next entry to the series.

When you play it, you know that the developers put their heart into development. And when i see that, i get the desire to give them as much money for it as possible (thus buying it on full price)

I am in. At full price recently, that's easy. Witcher 3 and the DLC pass. Got all the Witcher games from GoG. Not only are they amazing games BUT CDPR also does DRM right (none) and sets the gold standard for how to treat gamers, imho. Other game companies could take a lesson from them. Great games, great principles and great service.
I'm in.

But I'm not sure I will qualify because I can't even remember the last game I paid full retail price for was.

If were going more expensive though I'd guess maybe Call of Duty 4, I don't think I paid 50-60 but I certainly got my monies worth. I even reinstalled it recently and despite have about 90+ percent of the challenges completed in a previous save I think I'm now back to about 70 percent of them. And if you can find a group of friends it's still a blast to play.

And if were going even further back I may have payed full price for the mac version of Rise of Nations Gold. And it's an awesome game. Simple, minimalist interface, and ancient to modern day development.
I'm in.

Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2 - enjoyed the games so much I could comfortably play trough them several times and still feel thing are fresh and interesting.

Dark Souls 1 & 2 - Superb challenge and very interesting and well written lore and characters

Shadowgate - an amazing text based game

Darksiders 1 & 2 - Simply must be played, after all you are a horseman of the Apocalypse :D

The Bards Tale - Old game, but full with interesting and rich humor I personally enjoyed very much

Dragon Age Sage - Simply a rich world and a lot of replay value

Witcher Saga - Same as Dragon Age,but I personally found the characters and combat even more interesting in Witcher

Mass Effect - Same as Dragon Age

Mount & Blade Warband - A very well designed sandbox game set in Medieval times

Dead Space - The story was just wow,a really good horror shooter

I could recommend many more games but I dont want the list to be too long :D
EDIT: Not in thanks. I'd rather buy the game myself, since there is no guarantee it's going to be back on sale again. Thanks for the GA and good luck to everyone.

As for one of the games I bought at full price:

Baldur's Gate. Bought not long after it came out. It was one of my first RPGs and I loved the character creation and open world exploration. Very nice story too. Later I bought the expansion, sequel and Icewind Dale for full price too and each one was worth it.

I'm in. Thanks for the giveaway.

I bought the Hitman Collection full price. Or maybe my brother did actually, but in the end we were both winners. Even if I haven't played the games because I gave up at the Columbian mansion in the very first, I'm happy this box entered the possession of the house complete with completely DRM-free games.

I bought the new corpse party full price. It was worth it for the soundtrack and artbook.
The game was awful though. so awful. :(

I'm in. I bought Hotline Miami 2:Wrong Number for full price on day 1 because the original game is one of my all time favorite games and the number 1 reason why I started paying attention to indie games:)
