I'm in. Hmm...hard to remember the last time I actually paid full price for a game...

This might count...I paid full price for Summoner to trade for a "bad" Mutator roll someone else had. Turned out I really enjoyed the "Shooter" games, especially the original Alien Shooter.

My last day 1 purchase was Witcher 2 for a boxed copy. It's a good game, but I hate the way games get constantly updated from the start.

Before that, if you count them as "full price" given I waited for the expansions to be combined, the Blizzard Battle Chests for Warcraft 1 & 2 and the one for Warcraft 3 with the expansions were absolutely top notch.
My most recent full price impulse buy was just last week: Thea the Awakening, an indie 4X king of dragon pass hybrid. It was 'full price', that is, with the launch discount. It was an impulse buy, as I had just read some glowing reviews, watched a let's play, and decided I had to play it then and there. Really good value for an indie title, kept me playing through the whole thanksgiving weekend.

Please count me in, thanks!

Hmm, I think I never bought a game on release before, but if it counts as full price, I picked up Super Street Fighter 4 AE in a store and it was pretty worth. While I'm kinda a casual buttonmasher instead of knowing about spacing, combos, frametraps and all that jazz it brought me over a hundred hours of fun. Something about the fights and the feedback of the hits was very satisfying.

I'm in, and +1 for your generosity.

I bought Evoland 2 on the day of release, because I loved the first game and I like to support indie developers. The first Evoland was more of an experiment than a fully developed game. But the sequel is much bigger and full of new ideas, has a great story and addictive gameplay. I just had to pay my respect to the developers.

I'm in.

Bought collectors edition of StarCraft 2. While nice, if I had to do it over again, I'd probably go for the non-collectors box. The game itself is a decent RTS. Fun story. But in retrospect, I didn't care about the extras that came in the box. Not even sure what I did with the flash drive that came with it that had StarCraft/Brood War on it.

I'm in, Thanks

The first game I have ever bought full price was baldurs gate 2 at a launch day. Got my money worth for sure, I've finished it at least 6 times, every playthrough was more than 80h, I've bought it later on gog with D&D bundle and finished it two more times :)
I'm in, thanks for the giveaway.

A game I bought full price and thought it was worth it?? Well there are so many!!! If you want to dig into memories, I'd say the Might & Magic series, the Heroes of Might & Magic series, Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale series... More recently I'd say Guild Wars 1 (can't say the same about the 2...) and of course the Witcher series. For the Witcher series, after discovering the 1 in a bargain bin (best day of my life! ;) ), I even went so far as pre-ordering, which I normally never do. And CDPR did not disappoint me.

Not in but thanks for the giveaway.
Count me in.

I'd have to say Dawn of War 2 (and expansions) for me. Till this day I still play The Last Stand game mode every time I get the itch. Money well spent.

Thanks for the chance RayRay13000!
I'm in for Shovel Knight, thank you RayRay.

Recently I added to my collection of retail games the <span class="bold">StarCraft II</span> trilogy, I played the first one back in 2010. Since the addition of <span class="bold">Hearthstone</span>, Blizzard have started to get my attention once again, next up is <span class="bold">Diablo III</span>. I played many Diablo clones (<span class="bold">Path of exile</span>,
<span class="bold">Torchligh</span>, <span class="bold">Sacred 2</span>, <span class="bold">Titan Quest</span>). Diablo II was one the first games I have played, probably the first 10 games I have played.
As for indie, the last purchase included <span class="bold">Transistor</span>, <span class="bold">This War of Mine</span>, and <span class="bold">Torchligh II</span>. All of which I have played for a long time ever since, over 40h in both Torchlight II and This Was of Mine, pretty soon Transistor will get there as well.
Other indie games I would like to get in the near future: <span class="bold">Hand of Fate</span>, <span class="bold">Guild of Dungeoneering</span>, <span class="bold">Crawl</span>, <span class="bold">Human Resource Machine</span>.

I'm in.

The last game I got for full price was Drox Operative by Soldak entertainment.

It was addictive game that fulfill a niche.

I am at the age where the costs of such games are not an issue, but rather finding the time to play them is.

sigh.
I would like to be in, please.
Here on GOG I bought System Shock 2 at release (don't remember if it was discounted) and I bought all the Deponia adventures at full price. I just like Daedalic and want to support them - and the games are totally worth it. But play them in German, if you are able to understand that. One of the few cases where the German release (being the original one) is better than the English one.
I'm in!

I bought Pillars of Eternity Royal Edition when it was on pre-order. I have also pledged for the POE kickstarter card game too. I love world that was created for POE!
+1 rep to the OP, but not in (I bought it yesterday). I've played it for 3 hours and I'm loving it!

The last game I bought full-price was Crystal Catacombs on IGS. I did because I had seen a pre-release stream and was instantly captivated by the soundtrack, graphics and challenging gameplay. Can't say it was worth every penny but I did get a couple dozens hours out of it and do want to revisit it later.
