i dont even mean what was the biggest rip-off (although that can count too); you might be perfect lee happy with payin' whatever you did.

Civ V

The Gearbox release of the Bulletstorm remaster with the cruddy Duke DLC. I bought it on sale and even then it was overpriced. Fine game, questionable DLC but it deserved better than ending up with Gearbox as a publisher.

I research before buying a game. And from there I decide at what price I should buy a set game. And then I wait till the price is "right".

So, life is beautiful, sunshine and butterflies. <3

I bought every X game (like X Terran War) for full price. Never really regretted it. Until X Rebirth...

Payed full price for Wasteland 2, but I think it´s worth maybe the half price.

Star Trek Online, baby!

The Sims 4. I bought a few of the expansion packs too, but I always go back to The Sims 2 and The Sims 3, and haven't played it for about 3 years now.

In hindsight, maybe the Telltale Almost Everything Bundle? Might be the most I ever paid for a single purchase of games. Granted it contained six games I didn't own yet, and divided by six, it wasn't that much. But then again, two of those were Jurassic Park and Law+Order, and another two I never got to playing before they were bundled and discounted for next to nothing, plus all of the games were DRM-ridden, and I don't mean Steam but friggin' SecuRom online activation.

Arcania a.k.a. "Gothic 4". And I ordered the Collector's Edition to boot. (-_-)
But eh, how was I supposed to know they'd ruin a Gothic game THAT badly? Well, on the bright side, I got an Eye of Innos with it so I can communicate with dragons... probably. Never tried to, actually, kinda hard to find the damn overgrown lizards IRL. :-D

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, pre-order pruchase price.
Have approximately 15 minutes playtime in game on release day, stopped playing Witcher 3 so I wouldn't be spoiled when CDProjekt published the Linux version of it.

...And so that 15 minutes of game-play for a $60 price remains my most overpriced game ever bought.

Just mentioned elsewhere that I bought some mostly multiplayer shooters for just their singleplayer campaigns back in the day, at full price. Stuff like Call of Duty 2 and 4 or Medal of Honor. Now I wait for $20ish sales for stuff like that, just because I have so much to play anyway.

I bought some Kickstarter RPGs for full "deluxe" price like Pillars of Eternity, then waited for all their DLCs and patches to be out before playing them anyway, when rather deep discounts had already come and gone. That was kind of silly. I thought I'd play them ASAP though, I just ended up not doing so.

I briefly collected "big box" games before giving up on discs altogether and going fully digital. I remember paying pretty high prices for stuff like Fallout and Ultima VII. I got the same prices again when I sold them though, so no big deal.

I bought the edition that had the statue in it. Still haven't installed the game, or even registered it to my account. After the second game was released for Linux, I assumed the third would also be - even if not at launch, I think their wording at the time was something like "we're looking into it". So, I bought the massive box because I like boxed games and physical extras. By now, the game probably runs well enough under Wine, but I should probably get better hardware and I need to save up in order to get what I want, so it'll take a little while. Also, I should probably finish the first and second games.

Incidentally, anyone know where to get watercooling blocks for an AMD FX-8320 and a Sapphire Radeon R9 270x? The fans get WAY too loud when pushing it even a little so it isn't any fun trying to game, I'd like to quiet the machine down a bit. Yes, I already replaced the fans, and it got quite a bit less loud.

I paid full price for Skyward Sword.

Well, most money is the Witcher 3 and expansions. I pre ordered all of it. Skyrim also ties as I paid full price for it at release.
