Also there's too many drink/snack/etc ads(one LOCATION in game is a store IRL that is one big advertisment).And that's why CRACKS are one's friend.

Don´t get me wrong but for the price of one water block you can get a proper CPU, of course, you need a motherboard as well.

To give you an answer for your question: EK, Overclockers UK or Caseking seem to be the most popular. I buy some stuff through a Caseking dealer in my country.
For cheaper stuff you can check the usual chinese retailer websites.

Total War: Rome II. A truly awful game without a penny's worth of value. Especially disappointing because I loved the original game.

Whatever I spent on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. when it originally came out. That game is a gigantic turd.

Hitman: Absolution Professional Edition. Easily the weakest sequel in the series.

I was pissed when GOG dropped the one world one price policy

The DS games I imported from Japan would qualify. These games are:
* Game Center CX 2 (the Japan-only sequel to Retro Game Challenge)
* SaGa 2 (remake of Final Fantasy Legend 2, nice upgrade to the original while keeping the original mechanics and building on them)
* SaGa 3 (remake of Final Fantasy Legend 3, completely revamps the game's mechanics; levels and experience points are gone, being replaced with a growth system where you have a chance of a stat gain after every action, for example)
* Dragon Quest 9 (yes, I did play this game in Japanese; I do have an unopened English copy around somewhere)

I did get many hours of enjoyment out of these games, despite the language barrier (though I didn't really play the text advanture in Game Center CX 2). Of course, these days I can just use an emulator and a translation patch and play the games in English, but back then I actually did play the games in Japanese on real hardware.

(It did help that I had played FFL2 and FFL3 many times before; in fact, FFL2 is probably one of the games I have the most total play time on over the years.)

Hexen, by FAR!

Spaceworld is known for its steep prices and Hexen was at one point at... I can't remember if it was 600 or 800 NOK, which is about 70 / 93 USD.

Even CyberPunk 2077 won't top that, which is just under 570 NOK at the moment :D

During my 5 year break from Computer Games (2009-2014), I got my first real chance to dive into console games. I played lots of games that are considered classics for the first time, like Resident Evil, Super Mario World, Metal Gear Solid and such. That led me to watching lots of dudes on YouTube who talked all about console games and, more importantly, their massive collections of games... Well... I caught the Collector bug.

I bought a few old consoles like the PS2, SNES, N64, GameCube and OG Xbox alongside a bunch of games for them. Now, I am sure I must have spent $1,000 dollars during that time on video games since retro stuff is overpriced, so that's a bunch of money that I now regret losing because I realized that I don't actually want all that stuff cluttering up my house. In fact, I realized that collecting physical games and consoles is a total scam nowadays as people love overpricing their used stuff. Moreover, you get paranoid that all of these consoles are slowly breaking... So, over the past two years I have been selling most of my stuff again or donating it to Goodwill.

Don't get me wrong, if PC had physical copies still, I would probably go for them whenever possible, especially since I don't have to worry about my PC breaking and making these games worthless. But for consoles... Well, it's just crazy.

Moral of the story: Don't let hyperconsumer YouTubers change your perspective on games. It could get expensive.

Atelier Arland trilogy deluxe and Atelier Lulua premium edition. I regret nothing, though.

I'm planning to get some experience in watercooling, and set up my next rig for that, so it wouldn't be just the bare components if I were to build something new. I'll look around and see if I can still find blocks for my no-longer-brand-new bits. Thanks for the suggestions, EK doesn't seem to have anything for the graphics card, but that's probably what's most in need of replacement anyway.

Fallout 3 for €76.
Five minutes into the first dlc I got fed up with Fallout. That was ten years ago and I still did not return. A total waste to buy the base game and then the GOtY the next year to get 4/5 dlcs that I never played (but for the few minutes it took me to accept the first quest).

EDIT: I was wrong, all five 5/5 dlcs were included.

Evony online. While not an actual purchase, I did feed its micro-transaction machine (over the course of about 9 months) a total of around £93, about 10 years ago. It's something I have never done since, and plan to never do again. It wasn't even a good game, so definitely not worth anything near what I pumped into it.
