Tale as old as time.

The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
More than 100 years later, evil is back, as it tends to do. Pick one of four available classes (yes, you don't have to be a bard) and before you know it you're be crawling through cavernous dungeons or the legendary city of Skara Brae, solving puzzles, bopping beasties in turn-based fashion and having a grand ol' time. Along with your party and your shiny gear, of course.

Fancy for some tasty extras?
The Premium edition comes loaded with an Art Book, Songbook, digital novellas, several in-game items, and more.
Platinum also includes the game's soundtrack and if you're new to the saga, the Ultimate Edition will provide you with a copy of the remastered Bard's Tales trilogy.

Looking for something different to scratch that RPG itch? The Torchlight and Tales of Maj'Eyal games are now on sale until September 22, 10pm UTC.

I'd say the main problem is the betrayal of what'd have been reasonable expectations at the time of backing. Nothing to do with any announcements just before release, but that at the time of backing people'd have expected that if they get to choose between GOG and Steam game key and certain digital extras, they'll get a key for game plus said extras on the platform of their choice and not have anything whatsoever to do with any other place. Not that I backed it, but just how I'm looking at it, and if so and no notification that this won't go this way was included in the game presentation when they started crowdfunding, this seems to be the reasonable expectation and the demand to have it met requires no further justification.

Skysect: WOHO WOW WOW WOW !

Quite nice . I got a ban from both Steam and InXile forums. Seems those guys are really pissed from truth.

My ban reason was wishing correct rewards for my tier.

Anamon: Your complaint wasn't the reason you were banned, as your screenshots show. You were banned because you wrote that you hope Brian Fargo dies. Given that, it's hard to disagree with the action. I think that kind of post would (and should) get you banned from any halfway-decently moderated forum.

People may be absolutely justified in how unhappy they are about how inXile handled backer rewards, and are of course allowed to make their voices heard. But it's not an excuse to just drop basic manners, and turn so disproportionately aggressive. It's counter-productive, and the reason why more and more developers want to give up on direct community interaction altogether, which is disappointing for either side.
How I can keep calm after scammed by those developers ?

Did they mention how they are going to distribute those extras on their kickstarter page?

Because being an idiot solves nothing.

No one is exactly "scammed" here:
1.) It's kickstarter, you're not guaranteed anything. That's the chance you take on Kickstarter.
2.) Inxile has delivered what was promised, it's just not hosted / provided in a way that people want. Scammed would be more like "I paid for shit I didn't get" - this didn't happen here. And if did happen, see #1.
Well if you run a Kickstarter you actually commit yourself to try and deliver the things you promised. The backer isn't guaranteed to get any product, but he is at least guaranteed that the developer tries his best to deliver it.

It would however still only be a scam if inXile actually said "All goodies will be delievered via GoG/Steam", which I'm pretty sure they didn't.
70% download/ install almost done got 3 hours or so left before get picked up. If it don't finish I'll pause it again and get it done next time I come to library.
One of the worst designed games I have ever played. The attempt to bring back some old and add some new failed. All that happened is a rediculous Frankenstein of a game. I am regreting this purchase more then when I bought a ford ranger pickup and it exploded 30 days later.
Totally forgot i backed this. Got it. But the huge download size (have forgotten how to not bloat games!??!?!!?) making me hesitant.
Peoples opinions on the game?

(Bards in the older games were awesome...)
