Tale as old as time.

The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
More than 100 years later, evil is back, as it tends to do. Pick one of four available classes (yes, you don't have to be a bard) and before you know it you're be crawling through cavernous dungeons or the legendary city of Skara Brae, solving puzzles, bopping beasties in turn-based fashion and having a grand ol' time. Along with your party and your shiny gear, of course.

Fancy for some tasty extras?
The Premium edition comes loaded with an Art Book, Songbook, digital novellas, several in-game items, and more.
Platinum also includes the game's soundtrack and if you're new to the saga, the Ultimate Edition will provide you with a copy of the remastered Bard's Tales trilogy.

Looking for something different to scratch that RPG itch? The Torchlight and Tales of Maj'Eyal games are now on sale until September 22, 10pm UTC.
Looks good. Waiting for some reviews.

Still no GOG keys from CrowdOx (and I already filled the survey selecting GOG days ago). And this in particular is unpleasant as well:
The game key you receive is for the Standard Edition of the game regardless of what tier you backed at. All your other extras will be available for download from CrowdOx, we have begun sending those emails and you should receive those some time today.
Not a good experience for backers, we can't even get digital add-ons on GOG.

I've had mine for a few days?!?

Of course it gives me some bullshit version that isn't actually for sale, so the game will forever show up as available, despite the fact that own it.

I recommend contactin inXile people directly. I contacted Phimseto at their forums and got the key pretty promptly after that. CrowdOx seems to be a mess at the moment.

That sounds like a major mess. What did GOG support say about it?

Yep, it's official: inXile backers are getting screwed again.

As backers, we still don't have keys on release day while people who preordered or bought today are already playing the game. And when backers get keys, we'll have to download our extras from a janky third-party website that might be gone next year.

As I said a couple hours ago, I won't be supporting inXile's future crowdfunding efforts since they seem to have no respect for the people who put down money years ahead of time to help fund their games.

This was an issue with Witcher 3 copies as well if you got box code instead of buying it on the platform, that's some problem on GoG part.

Argh. Always the same crap. Developers announce a multiplatform title, I want to download it on release date and there is no Mac version. >(

Yikes, that would take me weeks to download. And I bet the physical copy will be Steam only. =/
Wow...almost 30 GB to download.
And with some certainity two to three updates within the next week to patch bugs out.

I think, I'll wait with the download. :)
