As for Christmas dinner. I had fish soup and fillets of fried carp with czech potato salad. Fried carp is most traditional christmas diner in czech. And in many families this is the only day when they eat carps during whole year.

We had Bratwürste - grilled sausages with... Sauerkraut from a local butcher who knows how to make this things
really yummy
Later in the evening we had self made punch (strong black tea, fresh citron and orange juice, lots of sugar, rum, red wine)
and christmas cookies

For dinner on Christmas Day, it was very "Frenchy" : Foie gras on toasts, frog legs, boar meat with potatoes, cheese and vanilla ice cream.

My Christmas dinner consisted of roasted pork with crackling, normal potatoes, Danish sugar-browned potatoes, Danish red cabbage, Danish spicy sausages, duck, Danish brown sauce, and salty chips.

For dessert we had risalamande (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Risalamande).

Really the traditional Danish Christmas dinner with all the bells and whistles. It was disgustingly good, though I think I gained a couple of kg as a result.
