yes and no
because a update few years ago it would be under intellectual disability now which is broader but more respectful unless your working on Psychopathology, doctor and such.

the terms keeps changing every few years.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: I don't care how guilty the OP is. Regardless of any wrong he has done, Steam has no right to steal all of his games, which is what they are doing if they refuse either to unban him or else give him back every cent of money that he has ever paid to them. This lesson proves why Steam should be avoided like the plague. That is the value of this thread (although many of us already knew that this can and does happen on Steam long before this thread ever existed).
they didn't steal the games, games on steam are rented sadly by Subscriptions which we are marked as "subscribers" instead of consumers or users.
https://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/
if you notice they use the word "Subscription" pretty much thoughout it

just Subscrip shows up 114 times there.

B. Subscriptions; Content and Services

As a Subscriber you may obtain access to certain services, software and content available to Subscribers. The Steam client software and any other software, content, and updates you download or access via Steam, including but not limited to Valve or third-party video games and in-game content, and any virtual items you trade, sell or purchase in a Steam Subscription Marketplace are referred to in this Agreement as “Content and Services”; the rights to access and/or use any Contents and Services accessible through Steam are referred to in this Agreement as "Subscriptions."

also

C. Termination by Valve

Valve may cancel your Account or any particular Subscription(s) at any time in the event that (a) Valve ceases providing such Subscriptions to similarly situated Subscribers generally, or (b) you breach any terms of this Agreement (including any Subscription Terms or Rules of Use). In the event that your Account or a particular Subscription is terminated or cancelled by Valve for a violation of this Agreement or improper or illegal activity, no refund, including of any Subscription fees or of any unused funds in your Steam Wallet, will be granted.

i kinda don't like how this works but still

also this story sounds the same to this one https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/02/01/thought-do-we-own-our-steam-games/

The scary thing is that they absolutely have the right to do this. I think what you mean is that they shouldn't have the right to do this, and I agree there.

And you're free to use whatever words you like without any regard for anyone else. It's not a good thing to do, but you're certainly free to do it.

My main reason for correcting you wasn't even the potential for offence, it was just the fact that it's an incorrect term back formed from autistic. The fact that it's a total BS term means that it's mainly used by idiots as a slur, which does lend it offensive connotations.

liquidsnakehpks: did you by chance threaten them ? legal threats ?
I did not threatened them, never. Only begging for lock's removal (I did it before conversation with employee "Mara").
Unless you can and have the resources to start a legal battle against them, you should stick to dealing with GOG at this point. They're less complicated and more friendly than those folks at Valve. They seem to be obviously running low on coffee.

I can't do anything, because as said in the SSA they can terminate an access at any time for the any reason.

He's using an illegal account and being heavily monitored by GOG. Be patient because he'll be gone soon enough.

He's currently using brute account? If it's true - GOG's support staff must temporarily suspend him until original owner will regain an access.

such big company as volvo has so many people to protec them. Prove me wrong, but I've never seen anybody winning a lawsuit against them.

At this point, I can only suggest OP the same - stick with GaG and pirate steam-exclusive stuff. Like really - I know that from legal side it wont be a good thing, but as common sense - yes (they paid for these games already, they should be able to play them)

Gekko_Dekko: pirate steam-exclusive stuff.
If you can't handle something on principle don't sit there and pretend you have a reason or right to get that stuff for free. Either buy the product and only play the pirated version if you can't handle the DRM or just don't play it at all.

Certainly, no matter what choice one personally takes on the matter, promoting piracy is just bad form.
