Here's one I haven't seen mentioned in this thread yet

The Forgotten City
https://www.gog.com/en/game/the_forgotten_city

Our protagonist goes into a hidden city and finds him/herself in the past, where they must solve a mystery of why the city was destroyed. Involves multiple uses of time travel to go back to the beginning of the protagonists first entrance into the city.
TimeSplitters!

How has this not been mentioned yet? Such an awesome series. Regardless, yeah... TimeSplitters man, a really cool and funny series, with an awesome gameplay and many, many, many different, unique, and plain weird characters to choose from as well as many different maps and weapons. Yeah, overall a lot to offer (even a map editor, which I used to spend a lot of time in making me own maps. Pretty simple to use to).

Throughtout all of the three titles in the series you time travel to different locations and time periods. From historical ones to fictitous ones too, somewhere in the distant future.

Just a shame that all of the games in the series are platform exclusives. ._.

lupineshadow: When did HOMM2 have time travel? Surely just the lore of one of the characters and not a gameplay mechanic.
Could this be confused with Might and Magic 2? There is definitely time travel in that game.

Note the game was suggested by dtgreene, who lives and breathes RPGs. HOMM2 seems an unusual choice, so I'm inclined to believe a mistake in the list.

She is posting in this thread, so I welcome confirmation or correction.
Aww I was going to say Daikatana!

Errm.. Has anyone said Gateways yet though?
2D puzzle metroidvania with portals (which is somehow too fiddly and busy to be quite as awesome as that sounds)
But yeah, they quickly run out of ideas for stuff to do with regular portals so they start introducing a grow/shrink portal gun, an antigravity portal gun and.. a time loop portal gun! Fun with portals and time loops!

Other than that... Blinx the Time Cat on original XBox? Time Tunnel and Time Machine on Commodore 64?
Oh and, it was taken off sale everywhere, sadly a couple of years ago (due to licenses expiring, presumably) but if you can get hold of the TellTale Back to The Future game it's heartily recommended - just like a proper Back to the Future IV in Tell Tale point and click form!

It went down with Telltale and no one picked up the remains. Same for Jurassic Park. And I don't know if Guardians is still available. I guess they've had to renegotiate with the movie studios.

I still got my collector's edition DVD :)
Not as impressive as the ones of Monkey Island and Jurassic Park but still ...

Back To The Future is not one of the best adventures I ever played, but it was good enough and stayed true to the franchise.

Btw, all original purchases from Telltale including these two games can still be downloaded from their website including these two games.

Worth noting that I haven't played any of the "Heroes of" games, so any list saying that I suggested such a game has a mistake. Either the game is wrong (which is likely the case judging from what you wrote), or the suggester was wrong.
Didn't find on GOG, but Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time.

Prince of Persia franchise, braid are involving time travel.

Shadwen allows you to reverse time at any time and try a different approach to the current stage. You can rewind a long time if I'm not mistaken.

Iron Danger does the same, except it is limited to 5 seconds.

csanjuro: Costume Quest 2 has time travel
And it wasn't here when you posted it, but it is now! How did you know it? You're a time traveler aren't you?

I really enjoyed playing through "Shadwen".
Have to admit it took me a few minutes, to understand how the "time flows only, if you move" element worked.
But once it "clicked", it provided a lot of fun.
Unfortunately, I found the ending(s) to be "meh" at best.
Serious Sam. The main plot point of the game is to go back in time and prevent humanity from being wiped out by Mental's hordes.

Worms 4: Mayhem. Every time the campaign environment changes, it is through time travel.

Mortal Kombat 9. Raiden sends his past self a cryptic message, integral to the game's plot.

Red Alert 3. Begins by the soviets travelling back through time and killing Einstein, altering the course of history. Yuri's Revenge for Red Alert 2 also includes time travel.

dtgreene: (Note, however, that many regard this entry as among the worst in the series.)

Karl_the_Pain: I think everyone can agree that no game in the franchise is worse than 9.
A bit of a late reply, but I would argue that the NES adaptation of Ultima 5 is likely worse than Ultima 9.

(Note: This does not apply to other versions of Ultima 5, which are actually good.)

It's not the first time I hear that about Shadwen's ending. Ok, I won't hold great expectations about it.
I only tried Shadwen's demo so far, but it was enough to convince me that it is a fun game with an interesting mechanic. I will play through it eventually, but the backlog never appears to let me pick it up next...

stvn87: Life Is Strange

Few years ago I played it on ps4 and was very surprised - game was strange but good, and I liked the story.
I'd actually disliked that game and didn't get too far in, the 'have to choose X or Y' choices just annoyed me. Example, early on you can't get back in the dorm room, girls won't let you. You can either fight them, or set up paint to fall on the girl making them leave. But 30 feet away in the garage is a DOOR going inside, but you can't take that route.

Probably the best part of the game is when she's just laying on the bed playing her guitar for as long as you like...

---

Blades of Time. When stuck in a special world, time puzzles are needed where you go back in time and as time moves forward again your ghost/echo continues to do what it had last done in that time, letting you stand in multiple places at once, or shoot an enemy with 10 copies of yourself, so long as they are in the same general area. I rather enjoyed it.

Otherwise aesthetic and play-wise, it was kinda like playing Tomb Raider, but with time mechanics.

There's also Portal, not sure if it was a mod or official product where it's portal puzzles, but you need to have multiple instance of yourself, much like Blades of Time, but less fun.
