KneeTheCap: 1. The name is there for a reason :D And it sounds cool, too.

MarkoH01: Of course the title has a meaning - I was just wondering why you chose a German word. Btw it does not sound cool if you are German like me - it sounds pretty normal :D

I don't mind the engine at all except there was no fullscreen option. Maybe it can be shown somewhere that you just have to press F4 (something I didn't try of course - stupid me).

Edit: Yes, F4 worked.

Edit2: Just tell us when we should make a wishlist entry for the community wishlist. I really want to know how this continues.
Haha, it's quite unlikely that the game ever comes here as GOG has quite harsh requirements :D But Steam release might be possible.

The script is done, artwork is done, music is done. All that remains is our "coder" to put the pieces where they belong, so the story definitely continues :D

Harsh requirements? I did not know. I mean, they have a quality check for everything but now I am curious what requirements these could be ... but I guess you are not allowed to talk about those.

But if you have to release on steam please do it DRM-free.

If you scroll down you can see their faq that lists the requirements :D

I read all of them and except from the part with "RPG Maker games are more difficult because we have so many" I don't see much that is not fulfilled with this game. It IS unique and it is engaging. GOG has accepted several games that are nothing more than a walking simulator but give an exceptional experience. This would fit perfect imo. The FAQ also seems to be outdated:

"I am the publisher of a big F2P title - can I get it onto GOG?
Right now GOG does not distribute free to play titles, or any titles with a microtransaction payment system."

Not true anymore as we all know ;)

Anyway - you should at least TRY to get it on GOG. This game is really something and the narrative with all those flashbacks and dream sequences (or not . who knows) really makes this unique.
I agree. Please try to bring it to GOG.
I'm another one who'd love to see this on GOG.

PLEASE don't make it steam-only. Steam is a form of DRM, which many of us don't like.
I like the game, thanks for the generous demo. I enjoy the exploration, the different warp zones, the eeriness and the story, only suggestion I have is that sometimes the action icon (hand) when you click it there is no action but rather you have to aim below the icon, other times it works. a bit unwieldy. Over all a nice game, would like to see the final edition.
Wow, thank you all for your kind words, they do warm the heart :D

As for getting the game here, I dunno. Would it really be "gog worthy" ? They've been rejecting games left and right in the past :O

Aaaand they also accepted games for which people did not expect it at all. All we are saying is "TRY" to submit it here as well. If they should really reject what have you lost? You can still go steam, itch.io or any other platform.

That is true.

A question, though. Traum is a text-heavy(ish) adventure game that currently has no voice acting. Would it benefit from it? Or do you prefer to read the text yourself?

just watched the lets play of it , awesome game knee loved the music and writing . I agree with others this should be put on steam and gog.

* i think voice acting can be used to highlight some of the important sections of the game , other wise i prefer to read the text , it becomes annoying if there is lot of vo

What have you got to lose, by submitting such an amazing game to GOG? ( :

Same here. Normally I prefer VO but this type of game is best palyed without VO especially because it is so much and people will try to skip it either way. In addition VO might be exremely expensive.

Thank you both for your insight!
Those who have tried it, did you like the pacing? Did the story flow too slow or too fast? Did the demo have enough of it?
