I haven't watched any of the promotional material so I won't get hyped, I plan to enter with zero expectations and just try and enjoy the ride.

Mr. D™: The movie is overhyped like nothing else, the trailers are NOT looking promising to any degree plus it`s Abrams that applied for this job by delivering two Star Trek movies, one mediocre and one abyssal.
Sounds a lot like how the Resident Evil movies turned out...

Well, I wouldn't boycott the movie; however, I'm certainly not going to be one of those people who started standing in line for it last week and I'll probably end up getting it on streaming services a year or more from now.

I saw the original movie in the theater when I was a child and it has some memories tied to it, but I have my limits.

Why the hell would I, as a white European, wanna watch a movie by a jew, starring a negroe? Similarly, t's not like I like enjoy watching Bollywood or some other nonsense like that.
