Aaron86: Having glimpsed the battle, Vir turns his attention towards the robed figures to his east, hoping darkly that the intruding messenger didn't give away his position. He crept northwest to rejoin Lucas and Arkades, keeping his eye on the monks.
Hiding behind the remnants of a cobblestone chimney, Vir mentally reached out to the monk trailing behind, which he suspected was the senior of the other two [Telepathy: Read].
OOC: A party of monks
and a battle. What a way to make us multitask. :P
OOC: Heheh.
The robed figures continue to travel west, towards the battle.
You manage to tune into *some* of what the third figure is thinking. This is what you hear:
"...an end to this once and for all. A new city with you as its founder, o, wise one... ....return the wicked intruders to their misery, to a torment of their own making by their own design... ....liberty awaits us..." stoicsentry: OOC: My mistake. I didn't forget to move you, I misinterpreted your words. I knew you wanted to hide, but I thought you wanted to stay still. Don't worry, I will keep you right behind them.
Is that your move for this turn? Stay close to them?
pH7: OOC: Yes, stay close. If something happens, I'd like to perform an action also, unless it's already used (stalking).
Nothing happening. They seem to be headed in the direction of the battle. The chanting continues, as does the sword fighting.
Aaron86: OOC 2: Would handing the note to Lucas count as an action? If not, I would like to do that before doing the mind reading thing.
It is done. Lucas, you have read the note. (SEE ABOVE)
