stoicsentry: OOC: *Shrug* It's up to you. You can always keep attacking the cult if you like. Nothing in the rulebooks says you can't break promises to kids. Or, you could just sit back and watch what happens. Up to you to judge the situation. :)
OOC: This is when it would be convenient for Arcades to be the cleric of a dark god. Just kill them all, sacrifice the survivors, and let them sort it out in the underworld.

OOC: That, or a Detect Evil spell. Then again, if none or all are evil then who knows. Maybe the kids are evil and they killed their parents... lol

OOC: *goes to check character sheet* I didn't even know I could do that...

edit: Oh, I can't yet ;P

OOC: Yeah, sorry :( Next time? Heheh. Anyway apologies for the wackiness. The quest is a bit wild, but I hope it's enjoyable too. So what do you want to do? Think it over?

Remaining turns:
Arkades - up to 2/act
Phil - up to 3/act
Vir - up to 1/act

stoicsentry: Your Halberd rips into Barbarian (5), causing 13 damage and 8 additional bleeding damage! Amazing hit!
OOC: Does bleeding damage continue in the next round unless staunched? That is, will Barbarian (5) die all by himself in the next round?

OOC: Great question. Though in theory it's "continuous", bleeding damage is calculated all at once so I don't have to keep track of it, because it would get absolutely crazy. The bleeding is considered stopped at this point.

stoicsentry: Monkey attacks Barbarian 1 for 6 damage, Barbarian 2 for 3 damage, Barbarian 3 for 9 damage, Barbarian 4 for 3 damage, Barbarian 5 for 9 damage, Barbarian 6 for 5 damage. Barbarian (3) defeated.
OOC: The monkey is here?!?!?!

Vir needed to assess the situation and assess it quickly. His body tumbled in the air as Vir turned himself towards the barbarians. He gazed at one of the barbarians (I dunno, maybe #2) and scanned his mind. If these were new foes, Vir wanted to identify them quickly.

OOC: Sounds like a sensible way of handling it. I was just worried that I might be wasting an arrow on him if was going to die regardless =P

Phil isn't too happy about being ordered around by two kids without given any reason, but turns slightly on his heels and lets an arrow loose in the direction of Barbarian (5) instead.

Afterwards he moves a little to the west to get a better line of fire. He knocks another arrow, ready for his next target.

Edit & OOC: Attacking B(5) and then moving one space west.

Using telepathy:read on Barbarian (2) you successfully enter the target's mind. A feeling of emptiness engulfs you. Though this being has a brain, it is being controlled by someone.... or something else.

Your arrow digs into B(5)'s chest. He falls to the ground quickly, defeated. You have gained 2XP, everyone else in the party has gained 1 XP.

Runehamster: <snip>
????
Arkades glanced back and forth, thoroughly confused. "Wait, shieldbrothers - there is something very wrong here! Vir, do you sense anything?"

OOC: I'll have to pass on an action for this turn. I'm still not sure what's going on and I haven't re-unlocked any of the abilities I would have used in our other adventure.

OOC: Hmm... sorry I had to lock some of those options, well you did ask for a well expanded skill system so unfortunately this is the downside to that. :(

New turn coming tonight or tomorrow.

OOC: No, it's quite alright - I suffered the same issue in MMO's. If you're the healer, there's not much to do at low levels except heal the occasional booboo and watch other people bang heads and fry people :D

OOC: Pretty much, I guess. I'll have you Bless Phil, though, if that's OK. No matter who the bad guys are, we know he isn't one of 'em. :)
