If you think 300 was a bad movie, you know nothing about movie industry? ;) Read about movies you're about to watch BEFORE you do that.

Ah, nope. The movie is just popular because it's utter garbage and obvious distortion of Greek history for self-glorification. I really had to look away at all the historical bullshit plastered on the screen. I wouldn't mind it for a few lulz, but I know people are brain-drained enough to take this as authentical portrayal of history just because it's a blockbuster and throws some cheap color effects.

Oh my. 300 was never intended to be historical movie. Everybody who think otherwise, is too stupid to watch any movie of any kind.

If you're implying that after watching Abe: Vampire Hunter people would think that it's a historical movie, than German society is doomed...

Not only German. But, lemmie tell you that, yeah, Germany is a special case. Has to do with the Euro-centrism you get from the German establishment.

I want an "Harper vs Zombie Trudeau" movie.

I would involve the liberals raising Trudeau from the dead to get a leader that stands up to Harpo.

But then, zombie Trudeau would get out of control after seeing how badly the Liberals screwed up.

And, Harpo would proclaim "See, this is why we need new fighter jets!" and the opposition would reply: "Yeah, but the fighter jet you got don't work anyways!".

So then, Harpo would go back to his congregation in the West and ask his priest to banish Zombie Trudeau, but then his priest would tell him that they aren't hardcore enough to do shit like that.

So then, he would go in the Biblical Belt to get some real hardcore badass priest that has actually done an exorcist and the badass priest would put Trudeau to rest, but not before Trudeau finishes off the last remnants of the Liberal party so that someone more politically competent can step in.

And, the movie would end with Harper making a speech in front of a camera saying: "And this is why the Genesis is right and the scientists got it wrong so if the scientists got the theory of evolution wrong, then they must be wrong about the environment too and we should just keep drilling for more gasoline on which, us, people who own the land will probably see less than half the revenue we should be seeing, because this is what we do".

After that, they could make some really bad video games based on the movie that suck even more than the movie itself.

I must cancel my trip to Hamburg in this case. :P

I haven't seen it, but Dead Snow (Norway 2009) is a Nazi Zombie movie.

A 70 million $ budget (as it reads on the page) for such a movie seems like over the top. It will be interesting to see if there will be profit - hard to imagine.
