Bluekkis: Would be good PR for Firaxis to release Civ1 and Civ2 in GoG before release. should be good chance for GoG to get Firaxis/2K onboard.

A 2K blitz of Alpha Centauri, Civ 1, Civ 2 and Civ3: Complete would be lovely additions to the GOG roster.
Such good news.
Such uplifting, warm hearted and pleasing good news. Civ4 was crack for me and this will almost surely be the same, in a good way. I'm not much for strategy games to tell you the truth but Civ (and CnC) always does it for me.
Yay!

Aliasalpha: The advisors were fun but I think they need to get Brian Blessed for the military advisor. noone does shouty as well as him

Delixe: Well.. Steven Fry in General Melchitt or Lord Wellington mode.

There's no question that he's good but I think Brian is the king

The funny thing is with either of them I really don't envy the voice director. Blessed is completely and totally mad and Fry has a habbit of panicking and not turning up.
Just one last turn....
And again
And again
...
Certainly one of the best series ever on a computer addictive, easy to play and hard to complete. Roll on number 5 i cant wait to see it.
Jesus, about goddamn time.
This made me install Civ 4. I think I'll just play a couple of turns... :D

Yeah of course, "just a couple of turns", that's what they always say. Admit it: you're an addict!
Damn!
Sid Meier was the brain of Civilization and Brian Reynold for Civilization 2 and Sid Meiers: Alpha Centauri.
Am I the only one that think Civ IV is a good effort but not a true Civ game? The Civ serie is corrupted.
This news made my day. All they have to do is not fuck it up and this will be one of the few games I'll be willing to buy immediately upon launch (followed by a week of very little sleep).
Yay!
Now that's some great news :) definately willing to play it, one of the few games i'm truly waiting for!
Oh and by the way - I don't know what's wrong with Civ IV. It seems to me that this is the most enjoyable and playable of all the Civ games. And it's mechanics is certainly the most tweaked one.
Colonization sucked.
I'm kidding.
Anyway I hope this is good, there's been very little info on this (still) but TBH I don't care if it's good so long as Sid Meier's behind it.
