nmillar: Not this week; I've got a job interview tomorrow afternoon, so I'm pretty focussed on that at the moment! There's no harm in running two simultaneously anyway, if there are enough newbie players interested. Go ahead and announce your game; I'll follow up with a second game if yours becomes over-subscribed.

Vitek: OK, then. I think it will be no harm in this. It is also possible there won't enough players so the sign up could take a while.

I know I am not on the host list or anything, it's because I don't feel like host for regular game and would like to gain experiences with newbie game too. I still need 632XP to advance to 2nd level. :-)

Besides, the current way it's setup is us hosting 2 games simultaneously due to a lack of players in the player base. I realise it increases with every hosted game, and hell a newbie game might bring in a lot more newblood, but if we host two newbie games AND two regular games at the same time, it's going to get stretched. A lot.

jesskitten: Maybe create a mafia newbie thread and don't host any until say 6 newbies (1 game or less experience) register for that in the thread? So once there's demand, someone hosts it and we rope in two of the more experienced players too.

We can set guidelines or mod order or whatever in that thread too if needed.

Edit: Er, 9 player setup. So maybe 3 non-newbies.

Vitek: I think it could work for one or two games but later there wouldn't be enough players and signing up could take longer time and first signed players could lose interest before there is full roster.

jesskitten: Yeah, it could, but the other way it would just be a regular game with mostly experienced people anyway? Maybe instead if it doesn't fill in a couple weeks or something but there is interest (maybe 3 or 4) then just fill the rest with experienced players and run it anyway? :)

Khalaq: You could make a posting for players to express interest. It could be divided into three sections: Experienced Players, New Players, and Game Hosts. That way, you have a running list of people who are interested/involved in the game.
