I hear you on that. I got Invictus: In the Shadow of Olympus to work perfectly in WINE on my 64-bit Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro...but for some reason it just balks when I try to run it on my 32-bit Core Duo MacBook, under the same settings, graphics chip, and operating system. Weird.

I can't get Fallout 2 to stop making rainbow colors no matter what I do with my current laptop. I got it working fine on my desktop, just not my laptop. Pain in the ass, but that's PC gaming... a pain in the ass.

I've never had any problems with GOG games (except for Dungeon Keeper 2...). But i'm a (still) proud owner of Windows XP 32 bit, so... :D
ps. community patch for Fallout 2 fixes most of thep roblems with graphics.

Many of my GOG DosBox games crash in a spectacular way in my laptop. They not only crash, also when that happens the video configuration of my system, not only the resolution, it also change the screen from vertical to horizontal, it´s so amazing, people (my friends) don´t use to believe this, I must take them to my house to let them see it by his own eyes.

Just minimize the game, open up task manager, and kill explorer, then alt+tab back to the game and see if the colors are correct. Or kill explorer the same before opening the game, and use task manager to start the game.

When I said the fixes that usually work I meant the ones you know about.

Or you can disable desktop composition and visual themes in compatibility tab...

Reinstalled fallout now and remembered why I gave up - every few seconds screen would flicker and it would turn black, and that fog could be only removed with moving mouse around. No point doing it as it happens again in few seconds... -.- Any solutions for this issue?
