robb5: BTW: When you will choose the winner?

K_1269: I don't know, will depend on how busy I am. Usually I don't let my giveaways run for more than a day or two so my best guess is something along those lines.
Oh ok. Thanks.

I'm guessing you mean ME3?

Great people on the forum, no trolls or tasteless meme jokes, a lot of generosity, it keeps me coming every day even if I don't post much I enjoy lurking. Also here's a copy of cortex command on steam for one of you lovely ninjas :D L84E2-BP5CE-5GVQV

In it for Zeus, one of my favorite childhood games that I would love to replay and I've never played the expansion. I havent played a better citybuilding game since. Thanks for the awesome giveaway.

Oh, thank you :) Fixed it ;)
Thanks! I'm in for A New Beginning and Yesterday. I love p&c adventure games, and the Daedalic bundle/packs on GoG and Steam just haven't been in my budget. Pretty much the same with Yesterday.

As for good/surprising things, winning one of the community advent calendar giveaways was awesome :)
Neverwinter Nights: Diamond Edition (GOG)

These forums have been awesome because I've been encouraged to try some new things; like different types of whiskey :) And, as everyone else has said, this is the only forum I keep coming back to because of how nice everyone is.

As for the game, Neverwinter Nights is D&D. I've played and loved pretty much every other D&D game out there (including NWN2!?) but not this for some reason. You, yes only you, can rectify this supreme injustice ;)
I would like to enter for Neverwinter Nights

I joined GOG a year ago, but never really visited the forums.
Was never the kind of guy to be part of a community. The thing is that I hated how there was always someone who made fun of you, tried to troll everybody not to mention all the flame wars always brought up by certain members.

So I always avoided the "communities" but damn was I prejudiced and wrong about this one.
Everyone is nice, if you have a question you get answered immediately, the admins are also part of the community, always trying to help whoever has problems.
It's like a big family.
Nice selection of games. Thanks a lot for offering them.

I'm in for Yesterday. I like adventure games, games with a good story and short games (because this vastly increases the chance of me finishing them). Yesterday seems to hit these points. I'm a little worried about the dark tone, but I hope I'll be okay with that.

I'm not sure what more to pick.

A New Beginning is also an adventure, and I might like it, but I've read that it's rather heavy handed with the eco message (which would put me off) and has some unlikeable characters. Still, I'd put that as a second choice.

A digital version of NWN would be cool, but honestly I probably won't play it any time soon, and I do have the CD version. ME2 is also attractive, but I won't play it any time soon either. I have ME (physical also), but I've stopped playing it long ago and never went back. If I ever do finish it and would like to play the next game I'd probably buy it.

All in all, an excellent bunch of games offered here. I really won't mind winning any of them (except for Gray Matter which I already have on GG), it's just that there's a higher chance I'll play Yesterday and A New Beginning compared to the others.

My favourite thing about this forum is the great Kickstarter project thread, and I want to thank lowyhong for maintaining it. Most of the Kickstarter projects I backed I discovered through that thread. If you're looking for a particular interaction, contributing to one of Thespian*'s giveaways was a nice experience.

(Edited to highlight the games I'm in for.)

And I wish to thank you again for your contribution to it, ET3D. It was very nice of you. :)

Thanks mate, I'd like to enter for these games.

Gray Matter
Mass Effect 3
Yesterday

As for the surprising events, I'll give you 3 characters I, A, and N. These 3 characters tricked me to get/verify my e-mail address, then gifted me an Indie Royale bundle :D and one another time while we were trading stuff, they refused to take something even though I insisted! These are the little surprises you'd only see on one place in whole inet and you know where :)
Alright. I'm in for all GOG titles (I don't have them), and Mass Effect 1 on Gamersgate, which I also don't not have, and have never played the series.

As for a memory, there's the generosity of our members, the friendliness, the debate I had with a person who was clearly very disagreeable in the forum with other members, though him and I managed to retain to a more civil discussion.

But, I'll talk about when I met Miaghstir. I had screwed up a little in the forums and not realized it. He was nice enough to point it out to me without yelling despite me being relatively new. I was going to run a contest for my birthday, but I didn't know how the code trading worked, so him and I went over it together and we bought one another a game and traded. He was a fine person, and it's just a shame I don't run into him as often anymore.

As for games and why: I love RPG titles, I place them as my #2 genre of game, and I love to play them. That only accounts for NN:DE, Mass Effect. I can't say much for the remaining titles though, other than to say I'm curious and want to try them.

count me in for zeus

what i found about the forum is that there are a lot of similar minded gamers with similar thoughts on various games
I'm not in, but +1 for the giveaway.

There are two things that I really have enjoyed, one is that people on the forums answer my questions, not just in the General Forum, but also in the game specific ones.

Next, the Secret Santa this year was amazing. I think it is so great that everyone could come together, and have enough trust to organize and follow through with that.

Thanks for making GOG special!
