Less than a f*ing day??! I hope so.
acare84: More price options for games like 2.99, 3.99, 4.99 and etc... Of course they must keep $9.99 limit BTW.
I love the maximum of $9.99 too, but currently, it's restricting the GOG's catalogue too much. Just look at how many old games are being re-released or having remakes... and they are all being sold in others stores except for GOG, for $14.99 or $19.99 or whatever price. We both know this is true. :(
acare84: And community options like PM and friend system etc... And optional client system like Steam for community, downloading our games.
+1 for enhancing the community aspect of GOG, but many users dislike a client. Built-in IRC support, to attract them to the client? Shared owned/wishlists through the client? Friends list? :p
They just need to remove that damn Adobe Air from the downloader... would save them a lot of trouble and this is known for a long time.
DrIstvaan: Let's just hope they'll at least get back in shape and remain the service we all love. It'd be an absolute shame if the 2nd anniversary commemoration were something like "That's all folks, it's been nice knowing you, but CD Project is getting rid of us due to an unfortunate finincial situation. It's been a fun two years."
If they can get a site upgrade, new publisher deal and/or a nice promo together, all the better.
Being a new giant publisher or a giant sale, I'm happy with any.
They stopped the development of a game (at Metropolis) and reorganized the companies to focus more on both CD Projekt and GOG, so I guess it won't disappear that soon... We all are concerned about it, but don't be
too much pessimistic about it. ;)
