Then i had to find someone to take the place of my evil bard while she was away on a one week paid vacation.
Lots of new minions to look over and hire.
Trying out new minion training ideas.
Its been a busy time for evil.

Have seen it, sadly, they have a restraining order on me as well, not allowed within a 100k miles of front gate.

Since sales are usually friday-monday, I guess they decided to wait until tomorrow.

Last year, they had a week-long promo to celebrate, starting on Wednesday, 2nd September.
Of corse, it's not a sure thing they even planned a promo for this occasion this year.

It's hard to say... Also, the birthday date might vary. The main page has news since July 2008, so I don't even know why did they choose September 2 for last year's sale.

Open beta began on this day in 2008 (even though they started sending out beta access mails a week later, IIRC), I suppose that's why this is the (semi-)official GOG birthday.

Calling it now: the reason is The Witcher 2. They're pulling come of the GOG.com compatability crew to work through the crunch, and as a result support has declined.
