Stuff: uruk ?? . . . Where in Hell have you been? I thought they had that restraining order on you.

Hell nice place you should see it some time.
Lets see there was that evil cult i started to work on.
There was the random traveling a round the world ruining hopes and dreams.
Killing paladins.
Then i had to find someone to take the place of my evil bard while she was away on a one week paid vacation.
Lots of new minions to look over and hire.
Trying out new minion training ideas.
Its been a busy time for evil.

Have seen it, sadly, they have a restraining order on me as well, not allowed within a 100k miles of front gate.
Good to see you have not let important matters slip . . . =)

BLUE POST PLZ
Party or not, let's just say...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GOG!
Since sales are usually friday-monday, I guess they decided to wait until tomorrow.

Dragobr: Since sales are usually friday-monday, I guess they decided to wait until tomorrow.

Last year, they had a week-long promo to celebrate, starting on Wednesday, 2nd September.
Of corse, it's not a sure thing they even planned a promo for this occasion this year.
It's hard to say... Also, the birthday date might vary. The main page has news since July 2008, so I don't even know why did they choose September 2 for last year's sale.
Well, anyway, Happy Birthday GOG!

Open beta began on this day in 2008 (even though they started sending out beta access mails a week later, IIRC), I suppose that's why this is the (semi-)official GOG birthday.
Well, that's it for Thursday celebrations, I guess. In any case, happy birthday, GOG! Have a cake or something.
*disappointed*
happy birthday GOG

Zeewolf: (and naturally, I _hope_ there's some kind of cool reason for the slowness, like a major update or a bunch of new releases).

Calling it now: the reason is The Witcher 2. They're pulling come of the GOG.com compatability crew to work through the crunch, and as a result support has declined.

That's the only explanation I accept. Or the beta thing, but I draw the line at System Shock 2.
Good day, everybody here.
So, it wasn't less than a day as I expected before... =/

Well, regarding big sales,
In 2008 was September 08, Monday: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/Buy_1_game_and_Get_1_for_Free
In 2009 was September 02, Wednesday indeed: [url=http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/GOG_com_s_First_Anniversary_Promo_Buy_1_Get_1_Free

Also, where's the GamesCom 2010 actions/ideas? No news if they happened or not, too.
