The "Director's Cut" subtitle also means, that you'll have the unique opportunity to experience the game just as the developers did: with optional access to developer console you'll feel like the god of the realm.

All of the games come with an extensive amount of goodies--especially Divinity 2: Developer's Cut features a crazy amount of bonus materials (all of which you can access as soon as you finalize your purchase). Lexor: And to think that the one with $1000 mark could buy him/herself a nice few of these :o
Hmm that would be a LOT of copies :), and after some time he would be able to make some nice money with those copies on Ebay. But apparently, it's one of those people who doesn't need to do anything like that.

gyokzoli: I didn't get gift code for Divine Divinity although I got a gift email about this game (without any codes).
look into "My Games" and "Gift"
Great promotion and Great Pre-Order offer

I was thinking about when GOG will do a "Pay what you wan" bundle themselves

now all that's left for them is to start offering GOG keys for the Humble Indie bundles and other Indie bundles

Though I have to admit, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much of an incentive to go all the way and get all 3 games right now

Regardless, looks like it's time to gift Divine Divinity to a couple of friends...
I don't want the games but I just want to comment that the title is misleading. It's not really pay what you want. It's a game by itself but the prices people will pay are somewhat fixed to a certain price range. Anyway it's a nice action. Don't forget to publish new games tomorrow.

If you always have to go over the current top price to pre-order than not much more than 50 people will pre-order, right?

gog really should of thought this "deal" through a lot better, ok for those who got it early but no real deal for those who have more than one game or found out later about this deal.

also cant see sales getting past 10% with what the price is to get divinity 2 now. poorly thought out gog!

Look under "my account" "my games" and "gifts", usually gift codes are shown there as well.
[Edit] Just saw Kunovski already answered it.

keeveek: You know, this is the problem of average price. They are average.
If they had simply used an average price for this promo, there wouldn't BE a problem. The issue here is from the mixing of means and medians, and in particular with setting the threshold for Div2 at the top 10%, rather than something more reasonable (like top 20%, or even just beat-the-average). The top price jumped so fast because honestly the pricing of Div2 is just silly from a statistical standpoint, and now the rest of the promo is suffering. If the goal was to actually sell that game, they shouldn't have gated it behind such a high percentile.

If you only want DD, it's an awesome promo. If you want Div2, it was a good promo 90 minutes ago. If you want BD, you're better off just getting it out of the catalog.
Nice promo gog, I had good times with Divine Divinity ten years ago...

Indeed. I wonder what was the aim of this promo. It probably wasn't designed by person who had any knowledge about other internet bundles. And calling it "pay what you want" is not ok.
Own the first two here and Divinity 2 on amazon DRM free, so... sorry but no. The "director's cut" stuff completely pointless to me.

You know, that's the point of bundles. You shouldn't buy a bundle for only one game from it.

Bloodygoodgames: I will add, if you haven't bought Divine Divinity yet, you really should. It's a truly spectacular game, which I've been playing on and off for three weeks now. And if you do every quest, it's at least an 80 hour game. I'm hoping to get it finished this weekend, as my backlog is immense, but have to say it's been one of my BEST purchases on GOG. Will definitely be buying Beyond Divinity -- probably some time after Christmas when I get through a few other games first. Just can't justify doing it now (especially as I'm broke anyway, LOL).
But you should not be too much disappointed... because BD is waaaaaaay behind DD. DD is one of my favourite games, too. BD is not a bad game on it's own, but compared to DD, it's terrible.

Ubivis: yeah, just saw it too :( Let's see if we have a minimum price above the retail price in an hour or sooner :)

Lexor: Still the same "weird thing" as before - try to enter $18.00 (its above $17.99) and DII logo goes gray.
Maybe it is just my browser (latest Chrome), but I have some seconds after changing the price to 18.00 and during this time I can press the buy button and have the game in my cart at 18.00.

EDIT: Okay, just changes to (pay above $18). So does not work anymore ;)

This doesn't really seem like much of a deal at all, GOG. I've always shopped with you because your deals are straightforward. This seems like trying to trick people into spending more than they otherwise would for what are ultimately rather inconsequential benefits. I'm hoping this is just a weird experiment rather than something you intend to repeat. Also, I've already got Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity. There's really nothing to this deal for people like me.

PWYW offers are great in general. But they will surely have to think how to tweak them, because with that kind of PWYW offers they won't go far, I'm afraid ;-)

By the way, the prices are already going down.
