We've already [url=https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/411178_10151132738072657_1942233417_o.jpg" target="_blank]decorated our tree[/url]. We've started the sale. But seems like we're forgetting something.

Oh! That's right! It's not the holidays without a chance to visit GOG.com, looking for new and interesting ways that Coala has photo-chopped wintery iconography into them. It's a tradition that we're continuing for our fourth year!

The contest is simple: go through our catalog; we've edited 12 images, scattered across our wide selection of games, to include obvious holiday references, such as santa hats, Christmas trees, or reindeer. For an example, take a look at one of our screenshots from last year:

When you’ve got them all, list them all in an email to "contest@gog.com" with the subject line being "GOG.com 2012 Scavenger Screenshot Hunt". From every valid application we will pick 10 winners who got all the games right and gift them two games from the entire catalog. The contest ends on Tuesday December 25th 2012 11:59 GMT.

Or, I suppose, on the 21st of December when the world erupts in fire and doom. But if we're still around after that, then we'll end the contest officially on the 24th. ;)

hmm last time I did this I had to go through the catalog 2 and a bit times, and I wondered how feasible it would be once gog had many more titles. Nope as much as I like the chance to win a couple of free games I don't think I have enough free time to do it.

Good luck to those with more time then money, I fall into the later category so I'll just buy the games and dream of having the time to play them all.

Click click.... backspace, ctrl+f, tab, scroll. I'm doing everything i can to speed up the process. My arms are going to fall off lol

I done it a little faster. I open new tabs with my middle click. Arranged the list alphabetically, opened all games that started with letter A in new tabs, go through all, opened all with B, and so on.

My laptop doesn't seem to be able to handle so many tabs lol I've already had like 6 blue screens from just ctrl+left clicking on each link alphabetically. I'm at 9 of 12 almost there.

EDIT: SUCCESS! 12 for 12.

Question to GOG: Are the submissions checked manually? And is it better to send the links or the titles of the games?
