Batabusa: Yes, even played competitively for a couple of years. Never on a high level.
Give me a link to your Steam profile and I'll invite you to the group.

I'm pretty sure either nobody plays custom maps or the vast majority of people leave the server if one is picked so I there's no need to be in a hurry to fix it Andrew.

Yeah. I think we should remove all custom maps, leaving only official maps and then add one or two new custom maps to try now and again. As it stands now, the amount of custom maps is overwhelming.

Hmm, pity, so far I've never yet managed to witness (left alone join) a single match on the GoG-TF2 server. It persists at 0/24 for me *looks sad*.

Maybe if you'd invite me to the group?

Invited. Games usually start at around 8PM GMT and the server is unfortunately empty the rest of the time.

Also, just as a reminder, the invoice is due on the 4th so all donations are more than welcomed; the goal we need to reach is around $24.

You can donate either on the website or by PayPal at gom [dot] donate [at] gmail [dot] com

That's where we're heading right now, or better said when things get fixed. Stock maps with just a few good custom ones.

I'll try and get a game starting tonight. I have to say even when it was very popular, the GoG server is generally empty during the day (unless there's a major update). Evenings is when it's at.
/lurk is back from uni next week, so no doubt he (and then I, in the evenings after work) will be playing epic amounts of tf2.

So /lurk and the fail-pyro known only as "mehall" shall return to stalk the server anew.
Thanks to Aatami and bazilisek for the donations. We are now at $17 out of $24. Donations are still open and welcome (either via the website or at gom [dot] donate [at] gmail [dot] com ) but even if we don't reach our target I'll be able to cover the rest of the sum.

If you manage to find somebody who purchased the game just recently (e.g. through posting on the forum), you could always get a 3 days 'gift account' for TF2. Better than nothing? ;)

nah, 3 days would be equal to 2 hours for me, as I don't have much time to play currently :)
We've made it another month and I'd like to thank all of those who donated.

The drive is now open for the payment of the next month (May) and we're aiming at $24 (or around £14 after PayPal takes all the taxes and conversion rates).

Our end-date is the 4th of May, the day on which the invoice needs to be paid.

Donations can be made on the website (uses PayPal) or straight by PayPal at gom [dot] donate [at] gmail [dot] com

Also, there's a "We're alive another month" event tonight from 21:00 GMT.
Get your game on now!
